PR1MA™ Microplate Microcentrifuge

The PR1MA™ Microplate Microcentrifuge is the first mini-sized centrifuge with a swing-out rotor for microplates. Centrifuging plates before PCR ensures all reactants are in the bottom of the wells for proper concentrations and improved yields.
The easily accessible rotor chamber includes two plate carriers that rest at a 75° angle. This allows plates to be inserted confidently without sealing tapes or caps. Upon closing the centrifuge lid, the rotor accelerates and the centrifugal force "swings" the plates into a horizontal position, concentrating any droplets on the plate walls to the well bottoms.

PR1MA™ Pipet Controllers are lightweight (only 6.3oz/170g) and designed to fit comfortably in either the right or the left hand. The natural feel of the ergonomic body design, the computer balanced weight distribution and the low-pressure fingertip control buttons... all combine to provide a more comfortable pipetting experience.
The attached QuickStand™, retractable kickstand, allows the controller to stand on the bench without removing or emptying the serological pipet. The stand also holds the pipet at an angle which prevents the flowing of liquid to the filter and nosepiece. When it's not being used, the QuickStand™ flips back into neutral position where it doesn't interfere with normal operation.
A long-life rechargeable lithium (environmentally friendly) battery keeps the controller running for up to 8 hours or 2500 pipettings on a single two-hour charge. AlphaPette™ Pipettors are designed for exceptional comfort and accuracy. Combining ease of use: lightweight; well balanced; comfortable fit in the right or left hand; and accuracy, the AlphaPette™ is the perfect addition to your lab.
The adjustable thumbwheel is slightly recessed to prevent unintentional change and is protected from the effects of thermal expansion by the insulated body of the pipette. For convenience, volume can also be adjusted by turning the push-button.

The PR1MA™ Digital Dry Bath Series is a "next generation" product line that introduces several major advantages over traditional dry baths. They are the first digital dry baths to include advanced microprocessor controls, timed or continuous operation, and a removable hinged lid. In addition, an optional external temperature feedback probe can be positioned directly inside a sample tube, providing real-time control and monitoring of actual sample temperature.
The PR1MA™ Digital Dry Bath's transparent lid helps to promote better uniformity and minimize temperature stratification in the block by maintaining a warm air jacket layer. It also helps to reduce energy consumption by minimizing heat loss to the environment. The hinged lid can be flipped open (to the rear), or easily removed (lifted off) to accommodate taller tubes.
Both the single and dual block models can be ordered in a configuration that includes our unique Quick-Flip™ blocks. These universal blocks accept tubes from 0.5 to 2.0 mL and, with just a quick flip to the other side, accommodate 0.2 mL tubes, PCR strips or (in the dual block model only) a PCR plate.

The new PR1MA™ Roto-Mini Series of rotating mixers provide a wide range of mixing capabilities. The PR1MA™ V2 Vortex Mixer utilizes a smooth and powerful mixing technology, with the advantage of a uniquely designed reversible rubber head that can be attached to the mixer in two orientations. For the vortexing of single tubes, the cupped surface would generally be preferred. However, for applications requiring a flat/dimpled surface for mixing uniquely shaped vessels (or a handful of multiple test tubes), the head can easily be flipped over and reattached in reverse orientation.

With digital temperature control, the PR1MA™ Digital Refrigerated Incubator provides a convenient “set and walk away” operation, eliminating the need for external thermometers and repetitive “fine-tuning” of an analog control knob. Simply choose the desired temperature and the incubator immediately begins to heat up or cool down while accurately monitoring the chamber temperature and conveniently displaying the temperature in real-time on the large LED control panel.
Despite a modest footprint of 14.5 x 13″, the incubator features a large internal chamber, capable of storing flasks and bottles up to 2 Liters. The PR1MA™ MC-24 Touch is the first microcentrifuge in its class to feature touchscreen control. In addition to the next-generation control panel, the centrifuge also offers high speed (up to 13,500 rpm/16,800 xg) and a unique COMBI-Rotor™ with lid that accepts both standard microtubes (1.5/2.0ml) and PCR tubes/strips (0.2ml), making this the perfect partner for any molecular biology laboratory.

PR1MA™ 8 Mini Microcentrifuge

The PR1MA™ Mini is a personal centrifuge that virtually fits in the palm of your hand. An eight-place rotor is included and comes installed. A second rotor for 0.2 mL PCR tubes and strips is also included and stored with the rotor removal key in a convenient compartment on the bottom of the centrifuge.
All centrifuges include the 8 x 1.5/2.0 mL microtube rotor, two position PCR strip rotor, and 8 adapters for 0.5 mL tubes.

The PR1MA™ 3D is designed to provide the precise speeds and tilt angles required for a broad range of molecular and biological mixing applications. The user can adjust both parameters to match the vessel size and the volume of liquid being mixed, yielding optimum results.
This model includes both flat and dimpled (autoclavable) mats for mixing a wide variety of tubes and other vessels.
Stacking platforms can be purchased as accessories, effectively doubling the usable surface area of each model. PR1MA™ 3D features a maintenance-free, brushless motor, capable of loads up to 4.4 lbs, and is safe for use in cold rooms and incubators.

The PR1MA™ Mini Incubated Shaker is the most compact shaking incubator in its class. Despite the remarkably small footprint, a large 11.5 x 9.5 inch work space accepts several platforms for use with a variety of vessels.
The standard platform (included) features a non-slip rubber-coated surface ideal for TC flasks, petri dishes, and staining trays.
The convenient MAGic CLAMP™ Platform is also available for use with Erlenmeyer flasks and test tube racks. The unique, magnetic attachment method is the easiest way to instantly change between flask clamps of different sizes.
