PR1MA™ Pipette Tips were meticulously designed using a specially formulated NoStick® resin to provide researchers with the highest level of liquid handling performance. PR1MA™ Pipette Tips were created with the belief that when it comes to liquid handling, less is more.
PR1MA™ Pipette Tips are produced under strict controls and an ISO9001-certified Quality Assurance process. They are manufactured with a state-of-the-art fully automated tip manufacturing, filtering, and inspecting which is incomparable in our industry.
The PR1MA™ NoStick® tips offer users an even higher degree of fluid confidence and control. The inner surface of our NoStick® tip is considerably more hydrophobic than standard industry tips enabling viscous fluids to be dispensed more completely. Less fluid retention. Less sample loss. PR1MA™ tips prove that less is more when it comes to liquid handling!
PR1MA™ tips are purposely designed for a much cleaner liquid release. Less time spent waiting for the final drop to fall from the end of a tip. Our thinner walls and more finely tapered tip construction will eliminate the need to touch off. Users will maintain complete fluid control working with smaller Vols, and yet will not have to compromise their pipetting accuracy or precision.

Tubes for Kit Manufacturers? - Please contact us. MIDSCI has screw cap tube options available specifically for use in diagnostic kits, providing kit manufacturers the freedom to choose an alternate source of consumables from an experienced and trusted U.S. plastics manufacturer. Homogenization Tubes? - Please contact us. Homogenization calls for a tube that is built to withstand the rigors of lysing applications. When you need to be sure about the tube you select for lysing and bead beating, choose the brand that has the experience, innovation, and reliability of an industry leader.
PR1MA™ SCREW CAPS
Screw Caps are ideal for everyday laboratory applications as well as diagnostic kit manufacturing. From standard caps in bright colors to the molded grip caps with molded O-rings, there is a perfect seal for your important solutions.
Large, boil-resistant (MCT17) caps are easy to open & close, with a large labeling surface. Max Fill 1.7 mL with caps open and 1.5 with caps closed.
Grip Cap with Rubber Grip & O-ring (PR-SCMC)
PR1MA™ Microplate Microcentrifuge
The PR1MA™ Microplate Microcentrifuge is the first mini-sized centrifuge with a swing-out rotor for microplates. Centrifuging plates before PCR ensures all reactants are in the bottom of the wells for proper concentrations and improved yields.
The easily accessible rotor chamber includes two plate carriers that rest at a 75° angle. This allows plates to be inserted confidently without sealing tapes or caps. Upon closing the centrifuge lid, the rotor accelerates and the centrifugal force "swings" the plates into a horizontal position, concentrating any droplets on the plate walls to the well bottoms.
Accessories
PCRCENT-A02 - This tube adapter for the PCRCENT Plate Centrifuge holds 96 0.2 mL tubes or 8 and 12 position PCR strips. It comes 2 per pack.
PCRCENT-DWMP - This optional rotor for the PCRCENT Plate Centrifuge has carriers for deep well plates up to 35 mm tall.
The new PR1MA™ Roto-Mini Series of rotating mixers provide a wide range of mixing capabilities. Suitable for an array of laboratory applications including resuspension, protein binding, nucleic acid purification, etc. the mixers include interchangeable tube holders for accommodating all common tube sizes from 0.5 mL to 50 mL. The motion can be adjusted from vertical (end over end) mixing, to horizontal (rolling or hybridization style) mixing.
The Roto-Mini rotator is also available in a "Plus" configuration, providing the following additional features:
Variable speed:
5 to 70 rpm
Mix function:
Rotating in combination w/ oscillations (increased mixing)
Pause function:
Rotating with intermittent "stops" during rotation
Rock function:
Back and forth, gentle rocking motion (see-saw)
