PR1MA™ Signature Cell Strainers
- Compatible with 6-well plates
- Superior ventilation - prevents clogging/spills
- Advanced design - faster flow through
- Interlocking and stackable
- RNase, DNase, pyrogen and cytotoxin free
- Sterile (gamma radiation) and individually packed
- Designed for use with 50 mL tubes (adaptor for 15 mL tubes included)
The PR1MA™ Signature Cell Strainer system is a fast easy-to-use solution for detaching, isolating, and straining cells from clusters and tissues. A polypropylene frame supports a nylon mesh that comes in three sizes: 40 µm (blue), 70 µm (white), and 100 µm (yellow). A tiered filtration process is made possible by the unique interlocking stackable design.
Redesigned with support tabs (for multi-well plates) and 1.5mm feet (for flat dishes and plates). Strainers are supplied sterile, individually wrapped, in convenient blister packs, with one free reducing adapter.
The advanced frame/housing design offers a unique geometry to ensure aseptic handling and eliminate the contamination risks associated with fingers contacting the filtered suspension, mesh, and/or interior surfaces. The enhanced performance and improved aeration, by eliminating the "air-lock" effect, also reduces processing time and prevents messy spillovers.

MTC™ Bio Erlenmeyer Flasks
Sterile, Vented, High-Performance Cell Culture Flasks.
MTC™ Bio’s Erlenmeyer Shaker Flasks are designed for high-efficiency cell culture and microbial growth. Made from high-quality polycarbonate, PETG, or styrene/butadiene (for Jumbo Flasks), these flasks provide durability and clarity for optimal lab performance.
Each flask features a vented polypropylene screw cap with a 0.2 uM membrane filter, allowing enhanced gas exchange to support vigorous cell growth. The standard SBS-compatible mouth ensures a secure fit with bioreactor and shaker equipment for seamless integration.
Polycarbonate flasks and Jumbo Fernbach flasks feature a baffled (ribbed) bottom, promoting superior oxygenation and efficient mixing, even at lower shaking speeds.
All Erlenmeyer flasks are individually wrapped and gamma sterilized to a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10, and are certified RNase-, DNase-, pyrogen-, endotoxin-, and human DNA-free for uncompromised experimental conditions.
Key Features
- Vented screw caps with 0.2 uM filters for increased air exchange
- Available with flat or baffled bottoms
- Gamma sterilized (SAL 10)
- Free of RNase, DNase, pyrogens, endotoxins, and human DNA
- Individually wrapped for sterility
- Polycarbonate flasks are autoclavable at 121°C and 15 psi for 30 minutes
These flasks are ideal for suspension cell cultures, microbial fermentation, and other bioreactor-compatible applications.
NEST High-Efficiency Erlenmeyer Flasks
High-efficiency, large-volume culture flasks allow cells to show strong viability with large expression amounts of proteins in the culture of mammalian cells and insect cells. During the culturing process, the use rate of the shaker is significantly increased, and the survival rate and viability of cells are both dramatically elevated.
NEST culture flasks also provide high repeatability, which allows high inter-batch consistency of cell growth and yield.
3 L Wide-mouth Efficient Erlenmeyer Flask
The bottom diameter of the 3L wide-mouth high-efficiency Erlenmeyer flask is consistent with that of the 3L high-efficiency Erlenmeyer flask, and its mouth diameter adopts the neck size of the 5L high-efficiency Erlenmeyer flask, which not only saves space usage but also increases oxygen flux, to increase the efficiency of cell culture.- The wide-mouth neck design is convenient for sampling and liquid filling
- DNase/RNase free, no pyrogens
- Sterilized by E-Beam
- Packaged in sterile bags
- PC bottle, which meets the USP Class 6 Standard, with high transparency, has strong impact resistance, and oxidation resistance, and can withstand a high temperature of up to 121ºC
- There’s a scale made by injection molding on the flask body to facilitate observing the filled liquid volume.
PR1MA™ Plates-Permeable Cell Culture Inserts
- Permeable Cell Culture Inserts mimic in vivo conditions
- Inserts center in wells, preventing membrane from touching sides and wicking between insert and side wall
- Membrane remains suspended above well bottom, allowing co-culture: grow one cell line inside insert, and another below in the well
- Ideal for drug transfer assays, transport studies, migration assays, and cell-cell interaction studies
- Transfer cultures to fresh media by moving the insert to a new plate
- 0.4 uM pore size is ideal for co-culture and drug transport studies
- 3.0 uM and 8.0 uM pore size are ideal for angiogenesis and chemotaxis experiments
- For more help with membrane selection, please contact CELLTREAT Scientific Products
- Non-Treated Plates sold separately; carrier plate is Tissue Culture Treated which encourages cell adhesion
