For applications requiring increased capacity over the Z306 or Z326 series centrifuges, the Z366 series offer a unique "Mid-Range" swing out rotor that accepts a variety of different tubes, including up to 16 x 50 mL or 40 x 15 mL. Despite this step up in capacity, the Z366 maintains a surprisingly compact design, with the standard air-cooled model featuring a footprint of 17 x 20 inches.

In addition to the popular 4 x 250 mL swing out rotor, a variety of additional rotors are also available. Angled rotors range from a 24 x 1.5ml micro rotor to a high capacity 6 x 250 mL rotor. A 2 x 3 microplate rotor is also available, as well as a 4 x PCR strips (8-strips) rotor.

Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification, which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy to use front panel can adjust accel/decel rates, and change the end of run alarm tone.

The Z446 universal centrifuge series offers the highest capacity of any benchtop Hermle-Benchmark model. With air-craft grade, premium alloy construction, the 4 x 750 mL swing out rotor can withstand centrifugal forces upwards of 4,500 xg with full loads of up to 28 x 50 mL or 68 x 15 mL tubes.

Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification,which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy to use front panel can adjust accel/decel rates, and change the end of run alarm tone. Rotor exchange is simple and requires less than one minute. An included rotor wrench can be used to loosen and install all rotors. As soon as the rotor is placed on the motor shaft, the identification process activates and the installed rotor code is displayed on the backlit LCD display.

The Z206-A Compact Centrifuge is suitable for a variety of applications inside both the clinical and research setting. Three angle rotor options are available permitting use with all common tube sizes from 0.2 mL to 50 mL. A unique 6 x 5 mL swing out rotor is also available for clinical applications requiring horizontal separation within 5ml blood collection tubes. The advanced microprocessor controls feature an ergonomic turn knob that controls all settings (time, speed, accel/decel levels, etc.). The speed can be adjusted from 200 rpm up to a maximum speed of 6,000 rpm (corresponding to 4,427 x g) in the popular 50 mL and 15 mL rotors.

The centrifuge lid features and automatic lid-lock that prevents it from being opened while the rotor is still in motion. In addition, a unique imbalance detection system is designed to automatically power down the motor in the event of improper loading of the rotor or any tube breakage.

The high capacity rectangular buckets accept microplates directly or a variety of tube inserts for accommodating as many as 40 x 50 mL conical or 96 x 15 mL conical tubes per run.

A standard floor standing model is available (height: 38.6 in.) which includes a convenient lower drawer for the storage of frequently used rotors and accessories. The SIEVA-3 Filtration Centrifuge is the perfect centrifuge for cake filtration. The powerful SIEVA-3 reaches speeds up to 10,000rpm/7,825 xg, and features a transparent viewing port in the lid for close monitoring of samples. The stainless-steel housing and parts make the SIEVA-3 corrosion resistant, and easy to clean. Optional 500ml filtration baskets are available in both perorated and non-perforated. Clarified liquids exit the unit via the drain located on the side of the unit.
