PR1MA Nutrient Broth

For cultivating a variety of non-fastidious organisms.

Dissolve 8 grams in one liter distilled water. Heat solution to boiling with continuous stirring for one minute. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes. Store at room temperature.

Each capsules has 25 g.  The 500 g package has 20 capsules, the 1 KG is 40 capsules and the 5 KG is 200 capsules.

Simply dissolve 1 capsule per 1 Liter of distilled water. Water must be 37°C or warmer to completely dissolve gelatin capsule. Agitate. Sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes before use. Buffer is set for 7.2 at 20°C using a 10mM solution of Tris/Tris HCl. pH will vary depending on temperature.
