These plastic culture tubes are produced in polystyrene (PS) or polypropylene (PP). The polystyrene tubes can withstand 1500 RPM during centrifugation. polypropylene tubes can withstand 3000 RPM and are autoclavable and freezable. Tubes with dual position snap caps (LDPE) provide either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples. Note - Leave the dual position snap cap in the loose position for aerobic work and in the sealed position for anaerobic cultures.
110414, 110415 & 110440 | 12 x 75 mm Plastic Tubes
These plastic culture tubes are produced in polystyrene (PS) or polypropylene (PP). The polystyrene tubes can withstand 1500 RPM during centrifugation. polypropylene tubes can withstand 3000 RPM and are autoclavable and freezable. Tubes with dual position snap caps (LDPE) provide either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples. Note - Leave the dual position snap cap in the loose position for aerobic work and in the sealed position for anaerobic cultures.
118115C | Universal Caps, Fits most 12 mm, 13 mm, & 16 mm Tubes
Guard samples against cross-contamination and laboratory work areas against infection and spillage with these universal snap caps. Precision molded from low-density polyethylene and designed to fit firmly on the tube. Closures are very sturdy under most rigorous procedures, including centrifugation.
These polyethylene (PE) universal caps are designed for easy-on and easy-off use. Cap removal is simple and quick. Universal caps are ideal for recapping most 12 mm, 13 mm and 16 mm evacuated glass blood collection tubes. Flexible closures protect from aerosols of highly infectious microorganisms. Not suitable for autoclaving.
118139 Series | Plug Stoppers for 12 mm Tubes
Polyethylene (PE) plug for 12 mm tubes and are available in a selection of colors for sample identification.
6263C | Plug Stoppers for 15 mL Centrifuge Tubes
Plug caps for 15 mL centrifuge tubes and are suitable for use with centrifuge tubes with a 17 mm diameter.
Being produced from polyethylene, they are flexible and provide better leak resistance than standard caps.

- The AV-2***-** and AVFS tubes are our most versatile. With a max RCF of 20,000xg, a temperature range of -196°C to 121°C, and a silicone gasket they are great for long term storage.
- The AVSC tubes fit all standard rotors and can be centrifuged up to 18,000xg. They have a temperature range of -40°C to 121°C. The silicone O ring also ensures safe storage of your samples.
50 mL Centrifuge Tubes PP (29x115mm)
- Sterile, RNase, DNase, pyrogen and cytotoxin free
- Available racked or bagged
- Compatible with standard rotors
- Frosted marking surface
Our 15 mL, 30 mL, and 50 mL centrifuge tubes are made of premium polypropylene for clarity and centrifugal strength. Tubes and caps may be frozen at temperatures as low as -86ºC. The maximum centrifugal force is 12,000 x g for the 15 mL tubes, 7,000 x g for the 30 mL tubes, and 15,000 x g for the 50 mL tubes*. Caps have a flat top surface for easy marking and labeling. C2605 and C2630 feature a ‘skirted’ bottom that allows the tubes to stand upright without a separate test tube rack. The C2600 series of centrifuge tubes, self-standing or not, are leakproof to 95 kPa/14psi.
*Refers to liquids with a specific gravity of 1.0, using appropriate rotors, cushions, and adapters.
