Coated Wire Racks for 15 and 50 mL Tubes

 

Coated Wire Racks are designed to meet all of your tube storage needs. These racks are constructed from sturdy wire and feature a robust HDPE coating that enhances their longevity and resistance to rust and corrosion. These coated wire racks also feature three deck levels to help ensure that your tubes stay safe and secure. Each rack is sold individually and comes in the color blue.

Our user friendly cube rack is a must for any laboratory. It accommodates (4) 50mL tubes, (10) 15mL conical tubes, (12) 12 x 75 or 12 x 100 tubes, or (16) 1.5 to 2.0mL microcentrifuge tubes. 42 Wells. Precision-molded from premium-grade plastics and ideal for routine laboratory analysis and procedures. We have applied the lessons learned from over 27 years of manufacturing experience to produce tubes that perform at their highest level. Our tubes are rigorously inspected by our Quality Assurance Department to ensure they surpass our exacting specifications. These tubes are ideal for a wide range of laboratory applications. They are available in several sizes, and from three materials, to meet a variety of needs.

  • - All of the tubes are plastic (polystyrene, polypropylene or polypropylene-copolymer), thus preventing the problem of broken glass.
  • - Polypropylene is chemically resistant, autoclavable and virtually unbreakable.
  • - Polystyrene is clear like glass.


Note that caps are ordered separately. These tubes are not available sterile.

BetterBox™ Microtube Storage Boxes

MTC Bio's BetterBox™ is an all new autoclavable polypropylene storage box, exclusively designed to hold 81 x 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL microtubes neatly and securely in nine rows of nine tubes (snap cap or screw cap tubes fit equally well). The lid cannot become separated or lost thanks to the sturdy hinge and locking clasp. A frosted marking spot is molded into the front edge and the top surface. Available in a rainbow pack of five colors with clear lids and bases, the actual tube rack (colored middle layer) can be snapped out, allowing the base to be easily filled with crushed ice or liquid. The BetterBox™ is made of autoclavable virgin polypropylene and is freezable to -80° C. The special corner feet are designed to mate with the four grooves in the top of the lid making them interlock and exceptionally easy to stack and transport.
