10 mL Centrifuge Tubes
- Closes gap between 5 mL & 15 mL tubes - Save on shipping charges and storage space
- Printed graduations - From 1.5 mL to 10 mL (0.5 mL increments)
- Reduced height (compared to 15 mL) - Minimizes shipping, storage, and waste
- Compatible with MTC C4015 Adapter - For cell straining and easy filling
- Sterilized bags of 50 tubes - RNase, DNase, & Pyrogen free
Whenever 15 mL is too much and 5 mL is not enough, MTC's new 10 mL screw cap conical centrifuge tube is the perfect compromise.
In addition to the obvious reduction in freight costs, storage space and plastic waste, the reduced height makes 100% sample recovery possible. This also reduces the cross-contamination risks associated with accidental contact between the pipette and the inner wall of 15mL tubes.
These new tubes are generally compatible with 15 mL centrifuge rotors, racks, block heaters, etc. MTC Bio 10 mL centrifuge tubes can withstand up to 12,000 xg maximum RCF* and are supplied sterile, certified RNase, DNase and pyrogen free. Packed in bags of 50 tubes with screw caps attached.
*Refers to liquids with a specific gravity of 1.0, using appropriate rotors, cushions and adapters.

MTC™ Bio 25 mL Centrifuge Tubes
MTC™ Bio 25 mL Centrifuge Tubes are the perfect solution for applications requiring more volume than 15 mL tubes but less than 50 mL. Designed to close the gap between standard sizes, these mid-volume conical tubes are ideal for midipreps, sample preparation, centrifugation, mixing, and long-term storage.
With a 33% shorter height and a wide diameter identical to 50 mL tubes, these low-profile tubes enhance efficiency by allowing faster pellet re-suspension and 100% sample recovery, even with small volumes. Their unique design also helps prevent cross-contamination, thanks to a pipette-friendly, wide-mouth opening that reduces accidental contact with the inner tube wall.
Made of high-clarity polypropylene, each 25 mL tube can withstand up to 17,000 x g RCF (relative centrifugal force) and features a 360º support rim beneath the screw cap. This rim fits most standard 50 mL tube rotors, racks, blocks, and centrifuge shields, eliminating the need for adapters—similar to the convenience of 1.5 mL microcentrifuge tubes.
These conical tubes come gamma sterilized, are RNase, DNase, and pyrogen free, and are available in bags or racks of 25, with caps pre-attached for ease of use.

FlowTubes™ for Flow Cytometry Instruments
- Compatible with FACS instruments
- Available with 35 um strainer cap, standard cap, or no cap
- Clear polystyrene
- 5 mL capacity
- 12 x 75 mm
Designed for Fluorescence Activated Cell Sorting / flow cytometry equipment. To ensure consistent compatibility with the automated instrument, the diameter and wall thickness is held to very tight tolerances. The tubes are available with the standard two-position culture cap, no cap at all, or with a cap that contains a 35 um nylon mesh screen. These tubes are primarily used to collect dissociated samples for subsequent processing in automated flow cytometry instruments.
Cell Strainer Caps
These cell strainers are ideal for detaching, isolating and straining cells from clusters and tissues. Their built in compatibility with 12 × 75 mm culture tubes and FACS tubes makes them especially useful for pre-sorting and preparing samples for fluorescence-activated cell Sorting (FACS). Typically, a 35 um porous mesh is used to obtain a single-cell suspension and to prevent clogging in FACS instrumentation. However, a multitude of FACS users have cited applications requiring finer pore sizes for a higher level of anti-clog protection. Others require a larger pore size for pre-sorting and/or for more efficient rapid flow.
