Low-fluorescence PVDF membranes reduce background noise for improved sensitivity. PVDF (polyvinylidene difluoride) membranes are commonly used for immunoblotting techniques, like Western blots. During the blotting process, samples are transferred from the protein gel onto a PVDF membrane by electroblotting. From there they can be used for protein sequencing.

Manufactured with a medium/dark blue polyester base and a double-emulsion coating, this film delivers sharp, publication-quality images with exceptional clarity and contrast.

Compatible with a wide range of radioisotopes, including 14C, 32P, 33P, 125I, and 35S, BluBlot™Â HS ensures high-resolution results and superior signal-to-noise ratios, making it ideal for sensitive detection methods such as chemiluminescence, fluorescence, and phosphor imaging.

Ideal for generating gradients of polyacrylamide, sucrose, and cesium chloride.
- Made of heavy acrylic plastic with high-quality, leak-free Teflon® valves
- Flat base provides stability on the magnetic stir. Comes with a support rod for attaching to a ring stand
- Takes Luer or 4 mm ID tubing. With included adapters, it can also take 2 mm ID or 22-gauge tubing
