Huge round top wells (with conical V-bottom) provide easier access and up to 480ul per well of working volume in this short (14.4mm high) micro-plate. Manufactured from chemically resistant and inert virgin polypropylene, this plate is optimized for sample collection; combinatorial chemistry; library applications, bacterial and yeast growth, storage, and sample recovery.  The V-bottom design helps to concentrate reagents and sample, minimizing the amount of both needed. It also improves sample recovery, while larger diameter wells improve sample access and overall volume.
The sturdy design and ANSI/SLAS 2004 compliant footprint (SBS) allow for automated usage with grippers, stackers, and heater/cooler blocks. Protran nitrocellulose membranes are the most frequently specified transfer media in the world for a wide range of applications. Protran membranes are manufactured using 100% pure nitrocellulose to ensure the highest binding capacity possible. Other membranes referred to as "nitrocellulose" may actually contain large amounts of cellulose acetate, which will lower the protein binding capacity. In addition to high binding capacity, Protran nitrocellulose membranes inherently have very low background. The superior surface properties of the membrane guarantees superior signal-to-noise ratios, without the need for stringent washing conditions. Unlike PVDF membranes, Protran nitrocellulose requires no methanol pre-wetting step. This makes it the membrane of choice for proteins that prefer aqueous environments. Prior to transfer, the membrane is simply wet in water and then in the transfer buffer, with no other necessary pre-treatment steps. Protran membranes exhibit the best handling strangth of all pure nitrocellulose membranes.

The polyester films are a great general purpose seal; ideal for sample protection and elimination of well-to-well sample cross contamination. The acrylic adhesive offers a strong bond that seals tightly on polypropylene and polystyrene plates.

This seal is ideally suited for short term storage, Elisa assays, prevention of sample loss, and general lab usage.

The paper backing of this film is scored on both ends to allow for two handed (precise) placement on the plate.

PCR Tube

Individual tubes with attached domed caps minimize evaporation especially when used with small sample volumes, in thermal cyclers with heated lids, or older units.  Achieve even and precise thermal transfer while minimizing evaporation with our 0.2ml, attached dome cap tubes.  The domed cap design is to assist condensate to re-enter the reaction mixture and gain contact with heated lids for improved heat transfer.

Precision molded as a single part creates parts with uniform fit and reduce sample evaporation.  Tubes with attached caps are regularly quality tested for evaporation rates and must exhibit less than 3% sample loss.

Individual tube volumes

Recommended for low throughput applications, these tubes are designed to fit all standard 0.2mL block thermal cyclers.  Each tube is joined to a cap, their thin and consistent wall thickness optimizes heat transfer to maximize yield.

Scintillation Vials

High quality scintillation vials available in three sizes to satisfy a range of applications. Designed to provide consistently low background counts and are suitable for low activity counting. The smaller sizes are very economical to use since they require smaller quantities of solvent.

The 20 mL Scintillation Vial has multiple uses in scintillation counting, gamma counting, chromatography, sample storage and culturing. Because of its leak-tight cap it is also commonly used to store and transport histological specimens in 10% formalin. This scintillation vial provides a high degree of resistance to organic solvents and sufficient translucence so that reagent levels can be easily seen. The unique thread design of the closure permits the vial to be sealed tight with an easy 1/4 turn and with minimum pressure.

The 6.5 mL Scintillation Vials are securely sealed by simply snapping the caps on. The cap is conveniently removed with an easy 1/4 turn to the left.

The 4 mL Polyethylene Scintillation Vial uses a full turn polypropylene screw cap. This small volume scintillation vial is the most economical size to use because it requires the least amount of solvent.
