Eclipse™ FlexTop™ Low Force Pipette Tips

Labcon Eclipse™ FlexTop™ Low Force pipette tips are designed to fit onto most popular pipettors and eject with forces shown to help reduce the risk of strain injury. By using these low force tips you don’t have to invest in special pipettors to gain all the advantages of low force pipetting. These ultimate tips feature a uniquely thin and flexible top that conforms to the pipette barrel unlike any other tips. They also include a non-beveled point that is so precise you can easily expel the tiniest amount of sample. And the top mounting is beveled to ensure that multichannel pipettes are easy to mount. FlexTop™ tip are made of clear 100% virgin polypropylene. Like all Labcon tips these tips are autoclavable along with their racks. Our FlexTop™ tips in racks are packed in our trademark Teal racks. These racks are made of polypropylene and are autoclavable repeatedly. They have sturdy latch hinges that won't come apart like lesser quality tip racks and a special snap lock designed so that it will not catch on your gloves. You can also get FlexTop™ tips in resealable zip style bags, in refills for our Pagoda® system, in Eclipse® style refills, and in racks that have been sterilized using irradiation.

Packaging

Individually Wrapped
Packaged in thermal sealed polyethylene bags.  These tips have been radiation sterilized.  This package is designed to provide the highest assurance that the tips you use are pure.

Bulk Pack
Tips are supplied in one large bag inside a corrugated container.  These are not recommended for long term storage due to warping.

96 Rack
Offer workhorse reliability and versatility.  They have heavy hook hinges that are extremely durable and an ergonomic snap-latch that won’t catch gloves.  Smooth rounded edges and a reinforced seal make these racks durable additions to your lab.  Strong enough to be autoclaved many times. The separate rack insert includes a beveled top an extra-sturdy surface for multi-channel pipetting.  A vent in the rack sides allows steam autoclaving to be more efficient and assures your tips are sterile. 

Eclipse Refills
Can be used to refill Labcon and some other brands of pipette racks.   Low carbon footprint makes them an ideal solution to waste reduction goals for your lab.  They refill racks without your having to touch the tips or racks, so you don’t need gloves.
 

ZAP™Slik Aerosol Filter Pipette Tips

ZAP™Slik Aerosol filter Pipette Tips from Labcon combine the higher standard of ZAP™ filters with our own unique low retention pipette tips. These aerosol tips provide you with complete protection from sample carry-over at the same time they reduce sample retention. Incorporating a robotically inserted 10 μm filter with a sponge-like porous pathway ZAP™Slik tips have such a small pore they even block fluids in the unlikely event that you should over-pipette. And our SuperSlik®; polypropylene increases the hydrophobicity of tips surfaces, so they have up to 10 times less fluid retention. ZAP™Slik Aerosol Filter Pipette Tips have been proven in independent studies to block aerosol contamination. But unlike some leading brands of self-sealing aerosol resistant pipette tips they have no cellulose gum, toluene solvent, or colored dyes in the filter to mix with and contaminate your sample. Also, unlike self-sealing aerosol tips ZAP™ tips can be autoclaved in a steam autoclave. And ZAP™ tips will not wick fluids like cellulose filled aerosol resistant tips so you don't have to worry about how you hold your pipettor. Our ZAP™ tips in sterile racks, like all our other sterile products, receive valid sterilization processing compliant with ISO 11137. So unlike "pre-sterile" tips from other pipette tip suppliers you can use ZAP™Slik tips for diagnostic and regulated procedures. And ZAP™Slik tips are RoHS compliant, unlike other low retention tips, so you don't have to worry that additives will migrate into your sample.

The Accuris ASPIRE Laboratory Aspirator incorporates a quiet, maintenance-free pump inside a sturdy, yet compact base. The vacuum is fully adjustable, with a pressure gauge that displays the vacuum level, allowing full control of aspirating speed. The ASPIRE is an ideal choice for a wide range of laboratory aspirating applications, including removal of media from tissue culture vessels or plates, and supernatants. An ergonomic, hand held aspirating device is included, and holds standard 200 to 300ul disposable pipette tips.

The collection bottle incorporates a reliable Overflow Protection Valve that closes off the tube to the vacuum in the event of a full bottle. In addition, the replaceable in-line filter protects the vacuum pump from contaminants and any moisture that comes through the bottle. Graduations on the collection bottle indicate the amount of fluid collected and when it's ready to be emptied. The Handheld Vacuum Pipette has an ergonomic design that's comfortable in the hand during prolonged use.  Pressing the button applies the vacuum. The pipette accepts Pasteur pipettes, serological pipettes, and also comes with 2 accessory pipette cones. One cone is designed to accommodate 200/300ul pipette tips, the other has a thin, stainless steel capillary for fine control aspirating.
