Use genuine VistaLab pipette tips to maximize the exceptional performance and benefits of Ovation and MLA pipettes. All VistaLab pipettes are calibrated with VistaLab tips to provide a perfect fit and deliver reliable performance every time. We have a variety of packaging configurations and options of sterile, certified RNase/DNase free, non-pyrogenic, filtered, low retention and trace metal certified.

Fit is Everything | One Size Does Not Fit All

VistaLab pipettes are calibrated to VistaLab tips. Ovation pipettes are designed to make the pipette ”click” when tips are properly loaded eliminating the need for excessive force and ”jamming.” You'll never worry about tips falling off! In addition, when tips aren't jammed on, they are easier to eject, which is more ergonomic.

For optimal performance:

1) The pipette tip should be sealed properly. The seal area should be the entire side wall of the tip, from the bottom of the nozzle to the top lip of the tip. If the tips are not sealed, there could be leakage and contamination.

2) The tip should not extend too far up the nozzle or be too small to fit onto the nozzle. Either situation affects tip ejection, which is also not ergonomic.

ZAP™ Aerosol Filter Pipette Tips

ZAP™ Aerosol filter Pipette Tips from Labcon set a higher standard for your lab than ordinary filter pipette tips. These aerosol tips provide you with complete protection from sample carry-over. Incorporating a robotically inserted 10 uM filter with a sponge-like porous pathway. ZAP™ tips have such a small pore they even block fluids in the unlikely event that you should over pipette. ZAP™ Aerosol Filter Pipette Tips have been proven in independent studies to block aerosol contamination but unlike some leading brands of self-sealing aerosol resistant pipette tips they have no cellulose gum , toluene solvent, or colored dyes in the filter to mix with and contaminate your sample. Also, unlike self-sealing aerosol tips ZAP™ tips can be autoclaved in a steam autoclave. And they will not wick fluids like cellulose filled aerosol resistant tips, so you don't have to worry about how you hold your pipettor. Our ZAP™ tips in sterile racks, like all our other products, have received valid sterilization processing compliant with ISO 11137. So unlike "pre-sterilized" or "irradiated" pipette tips Labcon ZAP™ Aerosol Tips are sterile and are not limited to Research Use Only.

The separate rack insert includes a beveled top an extra-sturdy surface for multi-channel pipetting.  A vent in the rack sides allows steam autoclaving to be more efficient and assures your tips are sterile.

All the Eclipse™ tips we make are made of high quality 100% pure virgin medical grade polypropylene, so you won't find recycled plastics in our tips. We pre-test the resin to ensure no extractables are present. Every lot is lab tested and certified free of detectable Nuclease (RNase/DNase), Endotoxin (pyrogen) contamination and certified to U.S.P. results. Resins are pre-tested for metal contamination. All our Eclipse™ tips in racks are packed in our trademark Teal racks. These racks are made of polypropylene and are autoclavable repeatedly. They have sturdy latch hinges that won't come apart like lesser quality tip racks and a special snap lock designed so that it will not catch on your gloves. You can also get Eclipse™ tips in resealable zip style bags, in refills for our Pagoda® system, in Eclipse™ refills, and in racks that have been sterilized using irradiation.

This package gives you the best of both worlds; low cost and a complete high-quality rack.  You assemble the rack yourself and insert the fully racked refills into the rack.  Since you never touch the tips you don’t have to be concerned about contamination from your hands or latex gloves.  These stacks are very stable so you can pipette with a multi-channel pipette right from the stack.
