Drosophila Bottles

 

Drosophila bottles are available in 6oz square bottoms and 8oz round bottoms, and there are two materials to choose from: polypropylene and polyethylene.

 

The polypropylene material is autoclavable and can be reused. The polyethylene material has stable performance and good tolerance to chemical substances. Specially designed neck can prevent the closures from falling in. Available in bulk or tray packaging.

Drosophila Closures


Drosophila closures can maintain the sealing of drosophila vials and bottles, which is beneficial to the growth and development of drosophila and blocks the entry of mites to ensure the accuracy of experimental results. Available in densest foam, densest sponge, and degreasing fiber.

Drosophila Trays

 

Drosophila trays are available in plastic and metal materials. Plastic trays are for narrow vials, with 10x10 dividers, and the Aluminum metal tray has no dividers for vials and bottles.

 

They are compatible with drosophila vials and bottles. Bulk packaging.

Media Storage Bottles

These Borosilicate Glass, General Purpose media bottles are autoclavable with permanent white imprinted graduations and marking spots.  The screw thread opening has an ID of approximately 30 MM.  The supplied cap is liner-less and both the cap and drip free ring are Polypropylene autoclavable to 140 Degrees Celsius (284 Degrees Fahrenheit).  Maximum use temperature of bottles is 450 Degrees Celsius.

hybex Erlenmeyer Flasks are manufactured from high quality, borosilicate 3.3 glass. A low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3), provides temperature resistance that is far superior to that of standard lab glass (or soda lime glass). hybex glass is designed to withstand high temperatures, making them ideal for shaking applications, media preparation and long-term storage.
The standard Erlenmeyer flasks have permanent, white enamel graduations for volume measurement and a white identification box for marking or coding.

For storage of media and cultures, the capped flasks include an autoclavable polypropylene cap & drip-ring. Optional cap colors are available, as well as PBT material caps for temperature applications up to 180°C. (Threads are standard GL-45 for compatibility with a wide range of cap types from various manufacturers, including phenoic caps, vented caps, etc.)

Sibata Micro Volumetric Flask

SIBATA Class A, TC Micro Volumetric Flasks meet ASTM E-237 Class A, Style I Specifications. These flasks feature machine-blown bodies and heavy-beaded, heavy-tubing necks, tooled for ST stoppers. The graduation line is sharp and permanent; large, white, block-letters allow the labeling to be easily read.
