With its compact construction, broad temperature range, and multiple block options, the PR1MA™ Mini is the perfect tool for laboratory incubations. The simple touchpad controls and a digital display provide for “set and walk away” temperature selection and unrivaled accuracy.
While perfect for bench use, the optional 12V adapter expands the utility of the PR1MA™ Mini to field use. At less than 4.3 inches wide, PR1MA™ Mini is truly the first personal block incubator.
The PR1MA™ Mini Digital Dry Bath with Heated Lid is the first and only mini heat block featuring a heated lid for protecting samples against unwanted condensation and evaporation.
Both the block and lid temperature can be selected independently in increments of 0.1°C, making it the ideal choice for the most temperature-sensitive applications, including immunoassays, LAMP assays, enzyme reactions & other temperature hyper-sensitive procedures.
The PR1MA™ Digital Dry Bath Series is a "next generation" product line that introduces several major advantages over traditional dry baths. They are the first digital dry baths to include advanced microprocessor controls, timed or continuous operation, and a removable hinged lid. In addition, an optional external temperature feedback probe can be positioned directly inside a sample tube, providing real-time control and monitoring of actual sample temperature.
The PR1MA™ Digital Dry Bath's transparent lid helps to promote better uniformity and minimize temperature stratification in the block by maintaining a warm air jacket layer. It also helps to reduce energy consumption by minimizing heat loss to the environment. The hinged lid can be flipped open (to the rear), or easily removed (lifted off) to accommodate taller tubes.
Both the single and dual block models can be ordered in a configuration that includes our unique Quick-Flip™ blocks. These universal blocks accept tubes from 0.5 to 2.0 mL and, with just a quick flip to the other side, accommodate 0.2 mL tubes, PCR strips or (in the dual block model only) a PCR plate.
Other blocks are available for tubes up to 50 mL.
The BeadBath Duo™ series are the first laboratory baths designed for precision temperature control when used with water, or with (the increasingly popular) Lab Armor® thermal beads. Unlike any other laboratory bath, they feature a "MODE" button that can be used to toggle between "Bead" or "Water" mode. Choosing the correct mode will automatically adjust the operation and balance of the multiple internal heating and sensing elements to ensure optimal performance. The result is one combination bath that is suitable for accurate, and uniform temperature control in either condition. While most research laboratories today are using water baths, many prefer the convenience of bead baths due to the advantages listed below. With the BeadBath Duo™, the lab gets the best of both worlds, allowing conversion from one bath type to the other, with the simple press of a button.
Note: Beads are not included with these items. For beads for baths, find them here.
Specifications

With four sizes to choose from, there is a MyBath™ to fit every lab.Easy-to-use controls allow the user to digitally select and monitor settings. Adjustable in 0.1°C increments, the temperature is shown on a large, 3-digit display. The proprietary Quick-CAL™ feature allows for simple, in-lab calibration. High-efficiency insulation maintains temperature stability and uniformity within the bath while keeping the housing cool to the touch. All the MyBath™ models feature seamless, stainless-steel chambers for easy cleaning and long life. The chambers resist rust and have no corners to collect dirt or contamination. The larger 8 L and 12 L units have drains for hassle-free water changes. The 4 L, 8 L, and 12 L models include a see-through cover that can be removed or flipped back on a rear hinge to conserve bench space. The lid's gabled design will divert condensation to the front and back of the bath, away from samples.Racks are available to accommodate 1.5 / 2.0 mL (B2000-4-T1520); 15 mL (B2000-8-T150); and 50 mL (B2000-8-T500) in the 8 L and 12 L MyBath™.The capacity for the 8 L and 12 L MyBath™ is as follows: 2 B2000-4-T1520, 1 B2000-8-T500, 1 B2000-8-T150.
Benchmark™ myBath™ CR circulating water baths offer the same accuracy and convenience of the static myBath™ series, but with faster heat ramping and enhanced stability/uniformity. With constant circulation, water temperature is uniform throughout the chamber, eliminating “cold-spots” and allowing for quick recovery following insertion of frozen samples.
The myBath™ CR utilizes digital PID processing control that accurately maintains and adjusts the temperature to the set parameters. Once the desired temperature has been programmed, the instrument begins to heat, while indicating both the set and actual temperatures on the large, digital display.
The chamber and heating coil are constructed of stainless steel, resulting in easy cleaning. Optional accessories are available for securing test-tubes and an optional gabled lid can be purchased to improve efficiency.

JULABO Water Bath JULABO water baths and shaking water baths with seamless, splash-water protected keypad offer a high operating comfort. The bright MULTI-DISPLAY (LED) indicating up to 6 temperature values is visible from across the lab. Advanced MICROPROCESSOR technology with PID temperature control eliminates temperature overshoot and provides high temperature stability. The built-in timer simplifies time-dependent applications. The RS232 interface allows on-line communication with PC. Sensitive samples in the bath are well protected: As soon as the high and low temperature limits are reached an interval tone sounds. If the liquid in the bath reaches a minimum, a complete shut-down is effected and a permanent signal tone sounds. Instruments are conceived for unsupervised continuous operation. Bath tanks and all parts in contact with the bath liquid are made of high-grade stainless steel.

Bead Baths from Lab Armor are designed with the user in mind and are optimized to work with Lab Armor Bath Beads. Bead Bath performs all the essentials, including warming, thawing, incubating, chilling and does so while maintaining a constant temperature just like a water bath. These baths deliver exceptional temperature uniformity up to 80°C. The baths are available in 6L, 14L, and 20L sizes, with and without beads included. Uniform Temperatures - with Bead Bath designed specifically for beads, temperatures are consistent and uniform everywhere in the bath. Thermal uniformity is an amazing ±5 °C at 37 °C and ± 1 °C at 65 °C. Since Bead Bath won't boil off like water, or pose danger of combustion like oil, it is ideal for most applications from 37°C to 400 °C. Fast Start - Bead Bath gets up and running faster and you never need to turn it off. There is nothing to evaporate. Unlike a standard bead-filled water bath, Bead Bath allows you to achieve a new set temperature quickly, without long warm up delays, so you can make quick adjustments. Stays Organized - Unlike water baths that require racks, floats and bottleneck weights, Bead Bath naturally holds things in place without accessories. The types and kinds of vessels that can be used with the Bead Bath aren't limited to water-tight containers. So you can safely incubate multiwall plates and petri dishes-or thaw samples without fear of water wicking under the lids. And vessels can be set into the beads at any angle for better thermal optimization. Low Maintenance - Water baths must be routinely monitored, cleaned and maintained. While it is a good idea to keep an eye on Bead Bath, it rarely needs attention. A bi-weekly or monthly spritz of a biodegradable disinfectant is usually sufficient.
Bucket - The Chill Bucket's bell-like shape and molded side knobs help you carry it stably in one arm. If the knobs were too big, they would get in the way; too shallow, they would not hold the bead bag in place. So the current design is optimized for carrying and stability on the bench.
Bead Bag - The Bead Bag's nylon mesh allows any condensation on the beads to escape and the nylon fiber also resists mold and mildew. If the beads need to be washed, the mesh bag works like a wash bag-the mesh hold are small enough to keep the beads, which makes washing them a breeze.
Chill Packs- The Chill Packs are standard ice packs which hold temperature for a long time and are tough enough to be used over and over again without breaking or tearing like vinyl shipping freeze packs can. In addition, they can be cleaned with alcohol or bleach to keep the Chill Bucket System free of mold and other microbes.
