Features

Low-fluorescence PVDF membranes reduce background noise for improved sensitivity. PVDF (polyvinylidene difluoride) membranes are commonly used for immunoblotting techniques, like Western blots. During the blotting process, samples are transferred from the protein gel onto a PVDF membrane by electroblotting. From there they can be used for protein sequencing.

  • High binding capacity is great for low-expressing proteins
  • Typically used for fluorescence
  • High protein retention for stripping and reprobing
