VIS and UV-VIS Cuvettes
Polystyrene (VIS) and Methacrylate (UV-VIS) Cuvettes. Optically superior designs specifically for fluorimetry make this an excellent choice for nephelometry and spectrophotometry. A negligible variation in absorbance between the 4 optical sides allows readings from any side. The polystyrene cuvettes are accurate in the 340 to 750 nm visible spectral range. The methacrylate cuvettes are accurate throughout the 285 to 750 nm UV-VIS spectral range. Standard 1 cm light path.

DiluCell™ Disposable Cuvettes
Â
DiluCell™ provides automatic dilution of higher concentrated samples for standard 1 cm cuvette-compatible spectrophotometers. DiluCell™ 10 allows automatic 1/10 dilutions. Combined with small sample volume requirements and bubble-free filling, the DiluCell™ allows for convenient spectrophotometric analysis from 340 – 1100 nm.
Â
Previously it was necessary to use standard cuvettes with a volume of at least 1 ml and additionally to dilute the sample manually. DiluCell™ from Implen allows for lower sample volume requirements and provides automatic virtual sample dilution. Due to the unique design of DiluCell™ cuvettes, the light-path is reduced from the standard 10 mm to 1.0 mm (DC 10). According to the Lambert Beer Law, this shortened pathlength results in an automatic sample dilution by factor 10 (DC 10). Automatic dilution with DiluCell™ saves time and excludes dilution errors and cross contaminations. Â

Electroporation Cuvette
Â
These cuvettes are compatible with most electroporation systems. The cap has been designed to improve aseptic handling techniques, while the lip and positive seal reduce potential aerosol and contamination issues. Available in 1 mm, 2 mm, and 4 mm gap sizes with individual color caps. Every cuvette is guaranteed sterile, packed using gamma irradiation, and has a simple tear wrapper for easy access when you need it. All 1 mm and 2 mm cuvettes have a tapered V bottom so that reduced sample volumes can be used while aiding sample pick up and minimizing dead volumes.
Â
The Cell Projects range of HiMaX Electroporation cuvettes is designed to maximize molecular electroporation and electrofusion efficiencies for Bacteria, Yeast, Insects, Plants, and mammals. Each batch of cuvettes must undergo rigorous testing at several stages during the manufacturing process for engineering tolerances, biocompatibility, and sterility before being Quality tested for optimal and reproducible impedance measurements.
Â
All batches are checked to optimize bio- and Transfection compatibility. Stringent use of high-quality polycarbonate and chemicals ensures consistent, uniform pulse generation and improved gene transfer.
Â
The molding process ensures extremely high tolerances so that the electrodes have a consistent gap and parallel configuration. The electrodes are also cleaned chemically and physically to fully optimize the cuvette for high transformation efficiencies.

For applications requiring increased capacity over the Z306 or Z326 series centrifuges, the Z366 series offer a unique "Mid-Range" swing out rotor that accepts a variety of different tubes, including up to 16 x 50 mL or 40 x 15 mL. Despite this step up in capacity, the Z366 maintains a surprisingly compact design, with the standard air-cooled model featuring a footprint of 17 x 20 inches.
In addition to the popular 4 x 250 mL swing out rotor, a variety of additional rotors are also available. Angled rotors range from a 24 x 1.5ml micro rotor to a high capacity 6 x 250 mL rotor. A 2 x 3 microplate rotor is also available, as well as a 4 x PCR strips (8-strips) rotor.
Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification, which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy to use front panel can adjust accel/decel rates, and change the end of run alarm tone.
