Smart Frequency Freezers provide the ultimate temperature uniformity with the perfect combination of variable speed compressors and hydrocarbon (HC) refrigeration. Variable speed compressors will control the speed of the motor based on the heating or cooling load – substantially reducing energy without promising performance. With the hydrocarbon refrigeration technology, 50% less energy is used compared to the traditional CFC refrigerants found in standard freezers. The refrigerants do not contain fluorine or chlorine giving it a GWP value of just three, which is better for the environment. Easily monitor temperature in liquids, baths, air/gas, incubators, refrigerators, or freezers. Keep track of temperature conditions overnight or for any time period—minimum and maximum temperatures are stored until the memory is cleared. Models feature a triple display that simultaneously shows current, minimum, and maximum temperatures. Set high and low alarms in 1° increments; the alarm sounds when temperature rises above or falls below set points, and continues to sound even if temperature returns to nonalarm range. The thermometer reads ambient temperature or probe temperature. The probe is attached to a 10-ft (3 m) micro-cable that permits doors to close on it; the probe and cable are both submersible. Mount the meter with included hook-and-loop strips, and wall-mount slots, or use the flip-open stand on the benchtop.
