Supor® (polyethersulfone) membrane provides high throughput and fast flow rate. The filters of 0.2 and 0.45 μm pore sizes provide sterilization of small volumes of buffers, culture media, and additives. Low protein binding to minimize sample loss.
These Supor syringe filters are offered as recommended replacements for the discontinued HT Tuffyrn syringe filters.

Pall® Acrodisc® Sterile Syringe Filters for Scale Up
These 25 mm filters are ideal for scale up. Filters feature a polypropylene housing. Ideal for drug development studies, determination of product compatibility and recovery, preliminary filterability testing, and small-volume liquid sterilization. There is no need to change membrane materials during transition to pilot or full-scale production.

These syringe filters are specifically designed for ion chromatography
applications and optimized to provide the most consistent results when
analyzing ionic species. Supor® (hydrophilic polyethersulfone) membrane
exhibits very low drug and protein adsorption.

- These syringe filters are ideal for filtration of gas and organic solvents

The polypropylene housing is fitted with female Luer-lock inlet and male slip Luer outlet. The hydrophobic PTFE membrane, on a polypropylene support, has broad chemical compatibility. The hydrophilic nylon membrane has excellent compatibility with esters, bases, and alcohols, and requires no prewetting.
They can also be used for air filtration and venting.
Certifications: Both membranes are HPLC certified for low levels of UV-absorbing extractables.

Acrodisc ONE with water wettable PTFE (wwPTFE) has a Next Generation Universal Membrane for all sample types with fast flow rates, low protein binding, and low levels of UV-absorbing extractables. Avoid the expense and inconvenience of keeping a variety of filters on hand, it is a versatile filter for aqueous and aggressive organic solvent-based solutions.
Other Acrodisc® PSF filter membrane options:

Packaging: Syringe filters packed in cases of 200 are available in four packs of 50 or in an AutoPack™ format. The AutoPack™ format consists of eight tubes with 25 syringe filters stacked on top of each other.

Supor membrane is ideal to use for the filtration of general aqueous samples. The GxF/Supor membrane configuration features a a GxF multi-layer glass fiber prefilter, providing two to four times the throughput of standard prefilter devices. The multi-layer prefilter captures particulate rated from > 40 to 1 μm.
