Nylon Membrane Disc Filter
- Weak resistance for acidic conditions
- Pore size: 0.45µm
- Diameter size: 247mm
- Non-sterile but autoclavable
Nylon membranes are naturally hydrophilic polymer. They have broad chemical compatibility and low levels of extractables since the membranes do not contain any wetting agents, detergents or surfactants. They can be used in many different applications for filtering aqueous and organic solutions, even some aggressive solutions, such as acetonitrile (ACN), DMF and DMSO.
Nylon membranes are not good for acid solutions and tend to bind greater amounts of proteins and other macromolecules than other membranes. They are not recommended for protein recovery applications.
Applications:
- General clean and filtration
- Sample Prep
- Environmental Monitoring and Analysis
- Filtration of Aqueous and Organic Solutions
- Fluid Monitoring
- Pharmaceutical Products Analysis
- Chromatography and Mass Spec Sample Prep
- Venting and Gas Filtration

RephiQuik 0.22 uM Syringe Filters
PTFE, PVDF, PES & Nylon Membranes – Non-Sterile.
RephiQuik 0.22 uM Non-sterile Syringe Filters are precision-engineered for fine filtration and sterilization of aqueous, organic, or protein-based solutions in laboratory workflows. Designed for high performance with low extractables, these filters feature four membrane options—PTFE, PVDF, PES, and Nylon—to meet the diverse needs of analytical and research applications.
Each filter is constructed with a durable polypropylene (PP) housing and includes a female luer-lock inlet with a male luer-slip outlet for secure, leak-free operation. The 0.22 uM pore size enables efficient removal of bacteria and fine particulates, ensuring clarity, sterility, and protection of downstream systems such as HPLC instruments and cell cultures.
The filters offer a large effective filtration area with minimal hold-up volume, ensuring maximum recovery of precious samples. The membrane type and pore size are clearly printed on each unit, and color-coded housings provide quick visual identification: blue (PTFE), yellow (PVDF), green (PES), and purple (Nylon).

Pall® Minimate™
Tangential Flow Filtration Systems
Minimate™ Streamlines Laboratory-Scale Concentration,
Desalting, and Buffer Exchange Processes
Plug-n-play design. Plug in a Minimate™ TFF capsule, add sample, and turn on the pump to start processing. The Minimate™ TFF system includes all the hardware, tubing, and fittings needed to get your TFF process up and running quickly.
High concentration factors. The low system working volume
achieved through the use of a conical bottom reservoir and compact design
enables high concentration factors from up to 1 L or more of sample to be
achieved. Concentrate your sample down to as little as 5 mL.
All wetted components are made from low protein binding,
chemically resistant, biologically safe materials.
Minimal sample carryover. The system has a very low volume
and interior fluid contact area. Fluid does not pass through and is not
retained in the pump mechanism.
Roller head peristaltic pumps provide gentle processing and
are the choice for critical applications such as fragile biomolecules.
System components are designed for easy assembly and
disassembly; no tools required. Tubing and fitting replacement is simple and
quick. Slip nuts for luer locks eliminate tubing kinks.

Sentino® Microbiology Pump
Maximize Workspace and Minimize Contamination Risk
• Compact design – Small footprint frees valuable benchtop space and provides flexibility in arranging workspace for optimal efficiency and workflow.
• Minimal height – Allows convenient use in a hood fitted with a sash that can limit upward range of motion during routine analysis.
• Disposable fluid path – Simple to load and completely disposable to eliminate potential biofilm build-up. There is no need to clean, wrap, and autoclave a bulky multi-place manifold. The potential for sporadic and unnecessary contamination is removed.
• Peristaltic flow design – Pulls sample through the filter and fluid path eliminating the need for a vacuum source. Also ensures the fluid flows in one direction without the potential for back-up and contamination of analysis.
• Fixed filtration parameters – Meets the Membrane Filter (MF) Technique filtration parameters described in U.S. EPA, ISO, and ASTM standards. Fixed conditions also prevent changes to filtration parameters that may adversely affect colony recoveries and integrity of results.
• Safety feature – Eliminates a fluid trap under the vacuum, preventing implosion accidents.
• Easy to clean – Shape of unit and materials of construction are easy to wipe down with standard laboratory disinfectants.
• Simple operation – Soft-touch keypad has simple on/off function and pulse features to control filtration. No complicated programming necessary to validate.

Pall® Minimate™
capsules with Omega™ membrane
Reusable TFF Device for Bioprocessing Applications
Accelerates and Simplifies Processing of Up to 1 L
Efficient processing. Concentration and diafiltration
(desalting or buffer exchange) processes can be performed on the same system
with minimal user intervention.
Achieves high concentration factors in a single step due to
the low holdup volume of the device. Process sample volumes up to 1 L or more
and efficiently concentrate samples to as little as 5 mL.
Minimate™ TFF capsule includes all fittings and tubing to simplify installation into filtration setups. This versatile, self-contained device works with a variety of positive pressure laboratory pumps.
Cost-effective design for non-critical applications. The plastic construction of the Minimate™ TFF capsule and chemical compatibility of the Omega™ PES ultrafiltration membrane facilitate cleaning and reuse.
Scalable. Several Minimate™ TFF capsules may be connected in parallel for increased membrane area. (For more information, contact Pall Technical Service.) -Minimate™ TFF capsules have the same path length and materials of construction as larger Pall Centramate™ and Centrasette™ cassette systems used in pilot and production plants. Predictable performance saves time when scaling up a process.
High product recovery. Optimized flow path design coupled
with low protein binding Omega membrane minimize non-specific binding.
Reusable economically-priced device can be dedicated to a
single batch or process eliminating the time required for cleaning and
validation.
Each Minimate™ capsule is 100% integrity tested during manufacture to ensure reliable performance. For critical applications, the user can re-test the integrity after initial use. A Certificate of Quality is included with each capsule.
Pall® Laboratory Manifold
A unique microbiology manifold that allows you to optimize testing without sacrificing cleanliness. With interchangeable components and coupling devices, the manifold takes direction from you.
- No more “dirty” manifolds: Microbial cross contamination of your sample is a thing of the past. The manifold is designed to fit most laboratory autoclaves by separating into manageable components.
- Double testing capacity: A larger manifold is at your reach with just a coupler. Modular design allows two manifolds to combine yielding a standard 6-place manifold which can be easily separated for disinfection and/or sterilization.
- Manifolds that adapt to you: Whether you are right or left-handed, setting up your test workflow is second nature. The components interchangeable and designed with a simple slip fit to the manifold.
Applications
Bioburden testing of filterable products is performed to determine the number of viable and reproducible microorganisms. By recovering organisms on and in a membrane filter, processing efficiency and the microbial quality of a sample can be evaluated to assure that the product is not harmful to the intended recipient.
Detecting spoilage microorganisms are critical for foods and beverages as they may be responsible for the deterioration of sensory qualities (visual, texture, and taste) and may potentially render the product harmful for consumption. Using membrane filtration, detection of these spoilage microorganisms keep contaminated items from reaching the market.
Monitoring for compliance to drinking water standards using Membrane Filtration Technique, determines if there are levels of pathogenic microorganisms in treated water or wastewater. These microorganisms include coliforms such as Escherichia coli (E. coli) and Legionella which are both classified as pathogens.Pall® MicroFunnel™
