MIDSCI has a wide assortment of test tubes, including top-notch centrifuge tubes your research depends on. We carry everything from sterile centrifuge tubes that we promise won’t buckle during spins to specialty centrifuge tubes that are completely blacked out to preserve your light sensitive compounds.
We also have freezer racks and autoclavable racks, stackable storage boxes and freezer boxes, general storage containers and cryogenic storage refrigerators and tanks.
And let’s not forget the labels! Wash-off labels, removable labels, and labels that will never come off (if you need that).

Bake Tags are oven-safe marking labels that withstand conventional oven-sterilization (typically 180°C) or heating to inactivate RNase, DNase and other enzymes. Bake Tags will withstand autoclaving, cryogenic freezer storage conditions and boiling baths without peeling or falling off.

color coding tape you use with a quick pull and a clean cut.
MIDSCIs multiple tape dispensers provide a well-organized means of storing a rainbow
assortment of color coding tape with no need to worry about different core sizes and widths.
Each of our multiple medical tape dispensers allow the user to easily change out an empty roll
of tape without switching out the entire dispenser, making them easy to use AND efficient!
Our label sheets are specially designed to permanently accept laser printing.
Tough-Tags are chemically inert polyester labels that strongly adhere to all plastics and other materials. They are temperature resistant from 121°C to -40°C. These labels will withstand autoclaving, boiling water baths, freezer temperatures, organic solvents, caustic agents and other challenges without peeling, cracking or falling off. For best adhesion it is recommended that siliconized surfaces be avoided.
Tough-Tags are pre-cut, peel-off labels which accept any marking instrument and are perfectly sized to fit microcentrifuge tubes and other containers in the laboratory. Tubes with Tough-Tags wrapped around them will still slide easily in and out of rotors without binding because the labels are thin and the adhesive does not migrate from behind the label even after boiling and autoclaving.

Our patented Cryogenic labels (Cryo-Babies are the small sizes and Cryo-Tags are the larger), are flexible polyolefin labels that withstand conventional and cryogenic storage conditions (vapor and liquid phase nitrogen storage at -196°C). The labels are chemically inert with a solvent resistant acrylic adhesive that will adhere to all plastics, glass and metal. Cryo-Babies and Cryo-Tags will withstand boiling water baths at 100°C and dry heat up to 150°C without cracking, peeling or degrading.
Cryo-Babies and Cryo-Tags resist most detergents and oils, as well as many organic solvents, caustic agents and other challenges without peeling. They will resist water soaking for at least 24 hours at room temperature and water vapor (100% relative humidity) at 35°C for at least 24 hours.

- It includes a lid and can accomodate 32 x 0.2 ml PCR tubes, 24 x 1.5/2.0 ml & 16 x 0.5 ml microtubes.
- Tube wells are alpha-numerically matrixed with raised bold type for quick identification.
- If you use cycle plates, 8 or 12 tube strips, or lage quantities of 0.2 ml PCR tubes, the WRI-4A is for you.
