Test Tubes and Racks

MIDSCI has a wide assortment of test tubes, including top-notch centrifuge tubes your research depends on. We carry everything from sterile centrifuge tubes that we promise won’t buckle during spins to specialty centrifuge tubes that are completely blacked out to preserve your light sensitive compounds.
We also have freezer racks and autoclavable racks, stackable storage boxes and freezer boxes, general storage containers and cryogenic storage refrigerators and tanks.
And let’s not forget the labels! Wash-off labels, removable labels, and labels that will never come off (if you need that).

- Designed for convenience & versatility, this rack can be used while you are working or as a storage rack.
- It includes a lid and can accomodate 32 x 0.2 ml PCR tubes, 24 x 1.5/2.0 ml & 16 x 0.5 ml microtubes.
- Tube wells are alpha-numerically matrixed with raised bold type for quick identification.
- If you use cycle plates, 8 or 12 tube strips, or lage quantities of 0.2 ml PCR tubes, the WRI-4A is for you.
- Four retainer clips hold the tray firmly in place, yet allow fast and convenient removal when necessary.
- Available with a clear lid and five flourescent colors: blue, green, orange, pink, yellow, or assorted.
Storage Box with Telescoping Lid
- Tubes of varying lengths are accommodated by the telescoping lids of these boxes.
- Made of polypropylene, they can be used for freezer storage and autoclaved.
- Lids are alphanumerically labeled.
- Boxes hold 0.5 mL, 1.5/2.0 mL and 5 mL tubes as well as cryovials and chromatography vials.
- Freezer storage racks and numeric ID grids are available for the 1.5/2.0 mL boxes.
96-Place Reversible Microtube Storage Racks
- Holds 0.5 mL microtubes on one side or 1.5, 1.7, 2.0 mL microtubes on reverse side

Labcon 96-Place Racks and Storage Boxes. These are for use with 0.5mL, 1.7mL and 2.0mL micro centrifuge tubes and 2.0mL cryo- vials. These double-sided racks hold 1.7mL and 2.0mL tubes on one side and 0.5mL on the reverse side. Rack and clear lid are fully autoclavable (122°C) and freezable

Our user friendly cube rack is a must for any laboratory. It accommodates (4) 50mL tubes, (10) 15mL conical tubes, (12) 12 x 75 or 12 x 100 tubes, or (16) 1.5 to 2.0mL microcentrifuge tubes. LiteSafe™ Centrifuge Tubes
These tubes are completely opaque, therefore protecting even the most light sensitive compounds. Midsci LiteSafe™ tubes eliminate the inconvenience of fitting tubes with aluminum foil to protect samples. Ideal for use with fluorescent probes or ethidium bromide.
Disposable polypropylene tubes and caps with recessed lid to prevent leaking. Frosted writing surface allows for permanent identification and labeling. Autoclavable to 122°C and can be stored in freezers to -100°C.
