ActionsTest Tubes and Racks
From test tubes and racks to the labels and boxes you’ll use them with. MIDSCI has got your needs covered.
We also have freezer racks and autoclavable racks, stackable storage boxes and freezer boxes, general storage containers and cryogenic storage refrigerators and tanks.
And let’s not forget the labels! Wash-off labels, removable labels, and labels that will never come off (if you need that).
There are so many other quality choices and options for all of these products. MIDSCI has a wide assortment of test tubes, including top-notch centrifuge tubes your research depends on. We carry everything from sterile centrifuge tubes that we promise won’t buckle during spins to specialty centrifuge tubes that are completely blacked out to preserve your light sensitive compounds.
Tough-Tags are chemically inert polyester labels that strongly adhere to all plastics and other materials. They are temperature resistant from 121°C to â40°C. These labels will withstand autoclaving, boiling water baths, freezer temperatures, organic solvents, caustic agents and other challenges without peeling, cracking or falling off. For best adhesion it is recommended that siliconized surfaces be avoided.
Tough-Tags are pre-cut, peel-off labels which accept any marking instrument and are perfectly sized to fit microcentrifuge tubes and other containers in the laboratory. Tubes with Tough-Tags wrapped around them will still slide easily in and out of rotors without binding because the labels thin and the adhesive does not migrate from behind the label even after boiling and autoclaving.

MIDSCI™ Cryogenic Labels - Sheets
Labeling frozen vials, microtubes, microplates, glass tubes, freezer boxes, plastic bags, and other containers can be a challenge when stored in temperatures below -20ºC.
Providing a high-quality Cryo label is essential for laboratories, researchers, etc. It will provide fewer errors, better accuracy, and more proficiency and all of this leads to better results at a better budget.
We offer a high-quality adhesive that can stick to already-frozen vials and other objects. The adhesive on this type of label will adhere to a surface in wet and/or cold conditions. The adhesive on the label is specifically designed to stick in temperatures below -80ºC and as low as -196ºC. When storing in deep freeze liquid nitrogen or vapor phase liquid nitrogen our Cryo labels will stay in place. MIDSCI™’s Cryo labels are resistant to smearing without any additional lamination. They also won't become brittle or cracked.
Our cryogenic labels are made of thermoplastic film and coated with a glove-friendly cryogenic adhesive. This special adhesive allows the label to remain strong and sticky so that it can be securely attached to stainless steel, aluminum, paint, powder-coated metal, and iron.
Our patented Cryo-Babies® and Cryo-Tags® withstand both long term cryogenic storage conditions and conventional freezer storage. Cryo labels are chemically inert with a solvent resistant adhesive that will adhere to croygenic vials, microtubes, test tubes, glass vials, beakers and metal racks. Cryo-Babies® and Cryo-Tags® also withstand flash/snap freezing in liquid nitrogen, boiling water baths at 100°C and dry heat up to 150°C.
