Compact, quiet, and powerful are just a few of the features found on the Z216 series microcentrifuges. Add to this, the versatility of eight available rotor options, and the result is the ideal microcentrifuge for the modern molecular biology laboratory.
All common microtubes (0.2 mL, 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL, 2.0 mL) can be accepted as well as PCR strips, hematocrit tubes, and even 5.0 mL centrifuge tubes. Advanced microprocessor controls allow for setting/displaying of the rotational speed in either rpm or rcf. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy-to-use front panel can adjust accel/decel rates and change the end-of-run alarm tone. Despite a remarkably small footprint, the Z216 series offers a uniquely designed 44 x 1.5 mL dual-row rotor, nearly doubling the capacity when compared to traditional microcentrifuges.
In the Z216-MK model a powerful, compressor-driven cooling system maintains temperatures as low as -20°C and is designed to reach 4°C (from room temperature) in less than 10 minutes.

With 17 available rotor options, the Z326 series defines the term "universal". Swinging bucket rotors and high speed angled rotors are available to accept tubes from 0.2 mL up to 85 mL, making the Z326 series suitable for nearly any laboratory application. Despite an impressive capacity of up to 4 x 145 mL (or 6 x 85 mL), the Z326 is surprisingly compact with both the standard air-cooled model and refrigerated model featuring a width of just over 15 inches.
Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification, which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy to use front panel can adjust accel/decel rates, and change the end of run alarm tone.

For applications requiring increased capacity over the Z306 or Z326 series centrifuges, the Z366 series offer a unique "Mid-Range" swing out rotor that accepts a variety of different tubes, including up to 16 x 50 mL or 40 x 15 mL. Despite this step up in capacity, the Z366 maintains a surprisingly compact design, with the standard air-cooled model featuring a footprint of 17 x 20 inches.
In addition to the popular 4 x 250 mL swing out rotor, a variety of additional rotors are also available. Angled rotors range from a 24 x 1.5ml micro rotor to a high capacity 6 x 250 mL rotor. A 2 x 3 microplate rotor is also available, as well as a 4 x PCR strips (8-strips) rotor.

The Z446 universal centrifuge series offers the highest capacity of any benchtop Hermle-Benchmark model. With air-craft grade, premium alloy construction, the 4 x 750 mL swing out rotor can withstand centrifugal forces upwards of 4,500 xg with full loads of up to 28 x 50 mL or 68 x 15 mL tubes.
Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification,which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. The Z32 HK utilizes much of the technology of our popular Z326 series, with a larger and more powerful motor drive, providing increased speed up to 20,000 rpm (38,007 x g). With 16 available rotor options, the Z32 HK is not only ideal for high-speed separations, it would also be classified as a universal centrifuge, offering economy-angled and swinging bucket rotors for lower-speed applications.
Tubes from 0.2 mL up to 85 mL can be accepted, and rotors can quickly be exchanged without any required programming, utilizing the instant rotor identification system.

The Z36 HK is the result of many years of experience in the design of universal centrifuges, high speed centrifuges and compact microcentrifuges.
