Labcon PerformR® 15 and 50 mL Centrifuge Tubes
High Performance Centrifugation
- Labcon PerformR® Tubes are developed using our own in-house laboratory and tested in real labs in basic procedures.
- Only 100% Medical Grade polypropylene resins are used in PerformR® Tubes. No recycled plastics or commodity grade resins.
- PerformR® Centrifuge Tubes are autoclavable with a standard 122°C plasticware process for 15 minutes.
- PerformR® tubes are printed using UV fixed inks that won't rub off like screen printed tubes from other suppliers. Graduations are tested for accuracy during every production lot.
- Patented reusable racks replace foam racks with a sustainable, autoclavable, freezable alternative. And our racks can be interlocked to form a workstation.
- All SuperClear® sterile tubes receive a validated irradiation dose following ISO 11137 requirements and have packaging approved for medical use.-

PerformR® centrifuge tubes combine reliable performance in major centrifuges. Spin rates higher than most popular brands. And high-quality lab certified non cyto-toxic medical grade resin.
PerformR® Centrifuge tubes are designed for your everyday centrifugation and storage needs. These tubes include large white solvent resistant labeling areas and black easy to read graduations. They are available with a flat cap that is easy to label. All package versions are sterilized with a validated and approved ISO 11137 method. Racked tubes are packaged in a reusable, autoclavable, and freezable (-80°C) polypropylene rack that inter-locks to allow you to create a workstation. PerformR® tubes are available in packaging styles for all your needs, including reusable polypropylene racks, sterile-bulk bags, and non-sterile bulk bags. All our sterile products are radiation sterilized following a validated ISO 11137 method. PerformR® tubes come with either a flat or plug style cap.

Labcon PerformR® 15 mL Polystyrene Centrifuge Tubes
- Centrifuging to 3,000 x G

Polystyrene tubes are made of crystal clear resin and have bold etched graduations. They can be used for some culture applications that require a glass clear material. Cap includes a polyethylene liner.
Caps have a three-ply co-extruded liner consisting of a foamed White Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) core sandwhiched between two solid layers of Low-Density Polyethylene which contains High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) for improved stiffness. Not autoclavable or freezable.
All sterile package versions are sterilized with a validated and approved ISO 11137 method. Racked tubes are packaged in a sustainable cardboard rack that is easy to recycle.

5 mL SuperClear® snap cap centrifuge tubes are an efficient alternative to 15 mL tubes. Designed to fit the same rotors as our 15 mL centrifuge tubes, you can use these tubes in procedures that require smaller sample volumes.
The interior surfaces are ultra-smooth with low retention characteristics. Lab testing confirms the superior performance of SuperClear® tubes in light transmission compared to other brands. SuperClear® tubes are more than twice as effective at transmitting light than other brands of 5 mL centrifuge tubes.
SuperClear® tubes feature an extra-thick and durable wall that can withstand centrifugation to 25,000 x G, more than twice some other brands. The ultra-clear polypropylene resin gives you a clear view of the pellet as well as correct color rendition. Designed with ergonomic caps and smooth surfaces.

Labcon SuperClear® Microcentrifuge Tubes

SuperClear® tubes feature an ultra-clear polypropylene resin that gives you a clear view of the pellet as well as correct color rendition. Designed to be sustainable, these tubes use less plastic than most other tubes and include ergonomic caps with smooth surfaces that help reduce the potential for repetitive strain injury. The cap also includes a special 90° hinge that makes the cap easier to close while on handed pipetting. These tubes are designed to stay closed during boiling to protect your sample.
Available in 0.5 mL, 1.7 mL, and 2.0 mL sizes that fit all stand high capacity rotors. Tubes with snap caps have pierceable caps, a side writing surface and graduations. Autoclavable (122°C) and freezable (-80°C).
