Liquid Handling
MIDSCI has a full line of liquid handling products including laboratory pipettes, pipette tips, pipettors, reagent reservoirs, aspiration systems, and pipette controllers.
Some liquid handling products are known to have safety issues and others are prone to errors that lead to poor results.
Our liquid handling products keep in mind the basics, like price and quality, but also go one step further to solve or pre-empt these and other issues researchers (and even the planet) may face.
For instance, the aspiration systems we stock are known for performance but also for safety. Our pipettor calibration service ensures reproducible results. We carry unbreakable transfer pipettes that avoid glass hazards. And we even have eco-friendly reagent reservoirs!

Quality Assurance
Oxford Serological Pipets are manufactured in cleanroom environments under strict ISO-certified quality control standards. Each pipet is gamma-irradiated to SAL10 (ISO11137) and tested to ensure sterility, safety, and biocompatibility. Materials are USP Class VI compliant, guaranteeing they are safe for biological and clinical use.

- VistaLab tips and tip racks are made of 100% pure virgin polypropylene.
Use genuine VistaLab pipette tips to maximize the exceptional performance and benefits of Ovation and MLA pipettes. All VistaLab pipettes are calibrated with VistaLab tips to provide a perfect fit and deliver reliable performance every time. We have a variety of packaging configurations and options of sterile, certified RNase/DNase free, non-pyrogenic, filtered, low retention and trace metal certified.
Fit is Everything | One Size Does Not Fit All
VistaLab pipettes are calibrated to VistaLab tips. Ovation pipettes are designed to make the pipette "click" when tips are properly loaded eliminating the need for excessive force and "jamming." You'll never worry about tips falling off! In addition, when tips aren't jammed on, they are easier to eject, which is more ergonomic.
For optimal performance:
1) The pipette tip should be sealed properly. The seal area should be the entire side wall of the tip, from the bottom of the nozzle to the top lip of the tip. If the tips are not sealed, there could be leakage and contamination.
2) The tip should not extend too far up the nozzle or be too small to fit onto the nozzle. Either situation affects tip ejection, which is also not ergonomic.

ECLIPSE™ Pipette Tips
Labcon Eclipse™ pipette tips include as standard many
features available from other suppliers only as special upgrades. All the
Eclipse™ tips we make are made of high quality 100% pure virgin medical grade polypropylene,
so you won't find recycled plastics in our tips. We pre-test the resin to
ensure no extractables are present. Every lot is lab tested and certified free
of detectable Nuclease (RNase/DNase), Endotoxin (pyrogen) contamination and
certified to U.S.P. results. Resins are pre-tested for metal contamination. All
our Eclipse™ tips in racks are packed in our trademark Teal racks. These racks
are made of polypropylene and are autoclavable repeatedly. They have sturdy
latch hinges that won't come apart like lesser quality tip racks and a special
snap lock designed so that it will not catch on your gloves. You can also get
Eclipse™ tips in resealable zip style bags, in refills for our Pagoda® system,
in Eclipse™ refills, and in racks that have been sterilized using irradiation.

store the tips for long periods since warping can occur after long periods of
storage in bags.

Tips are supplied in
one large bag inside a corrugated container.
These are not recommended for long term storage due to warping.
96 & 192 Racks
Offer workhorse
reliability and versatility. They have
heavy hook hinges that are extremely durable and an ergonomic snap-latch that
won’t catch gloves. Smooth rounded edges
and a reinforced seal make these racks durable additions to your lab. Strong enough to be autoclaved many times.
The separate rack insert includes a beveled top an extra-sturdy surface for
multi-channel pipetting. A vent in the
rack sides allows steam autoclaving to be more efficient and assures your tips
are sterile. The long thin design of the
192 rack allows for more working space on the lab bench.
Eclipse Refills
Can be used to
refill Labcon and some other brands of pipette racks. Low carbon footprint makes them an ideal
solution to waste reduction goals for your lab.
They refill racks without your having to touch the tips or racks, so you
don’t need gloves.

Bring the same ease,
value, and low carbon footprint of Eclipse refills to aerosol filter tips. These refills use a validated sterile process

Designed to withstand the heavy load that automated pipettes
exert on the racks. They have a special
closed-well structure that keeps each tip in its own well.
96 & 192 Stack Racks
This package gives you the best of both worlds; low cost and
a complete high-quality rack. You
assemble the rack yourself and insert the fully racked refills into the rack. Since you never touch the tips you don’t have
to be concerned about contamination from your hands or latex gloves. These stacks are very stable so you can
pipette with a multi-channel pipette right from the stack.

3. Hamilton automation tips are used in conjunction with Hamilton series workstations.
