ECLIPSE™ Pipette Tips

Labcon Eclipse™ pipette tips include as standard many features available from other suppliers only as special upgrades. All the Eclipse™ tips we make are made of high quality 100% pure virgin medical grade polypropylene, so you won't find recycled plastics in our tips. We pre-test the resin to ensure no extractables are present. Every lot is lab tested and certified free of detectable Nuclease (RNase/DNase), Endotoxin (pyrogen) contamination and certified to U.S.P. results. Resins are pre-tested for metal contamination. All our Eclipse™ tips in racks are packed in our trademark Teal racks. These racks are made of polypropylene and are autoclavable repeatedly. They have sturdy latch hinges that won't come apart like lesser quality tip racks and a special snap lock designed so that it will not catch on your gloves. You can also get Eclipse™ tips in resealable zip style bags, in refills for our Pagoda® system, in Eclipse™ refills, and in racks that have been sterilized using irradiation.

Packaging

Individually Wrapped
Packaged in thermal sealed polyethylene bags.  These tips have been radiation sterilized.  This package is designed to provide the highest assurance that the tips you use are pure.
Resealable Bags
Supplied in resealable polyethylene bags.  These are not recommended if you plan to store the tips for long periods since warping can occur after long periods of storage in bags.
 Bulk Pack
 
Tips are supplied in one large bag inside a corrugated container.  These are not recommended for long term storage due to warping.

 96 & 192 Racks
 
Offer workhorse reliability and versatility.  They have heavy hook hinges that are extremely durable and an ergonomic snap-latch that won’t catch gloves.  Smooth rounded edges and a reinforced seal make these racks durable additions to your lab.  Strong enough to be autoclaved many times. The separate rack insert includes a beveled top an extra-sturdy surface for multi-channel pipetting.  A vent in the rack sides allows steam autoclaving to be more efficient and assures your tips are sterile.  The long thin design of the 192 rack allows for more working space on the lab bench.

 Eclipse Refills
 
Can be used to refill Labcon and some other brands of pipette racks.   Low carbon footprint makes them an ideal solution to waste reduction goals for your lab.  They refill racks without your having to touch the tips or racks, so you don’t need gloves.

 Eclipse UNO Refills
 
Bring the same ease, value, and low carbon footprint of Eclipse refills to aerosol filter tips.  These refills use a validated sterile process and include an expiration date on every pack.  Eclipse packaging in made exclusively from recyclable and renewable materials.

 384 Rack
 
Designed to withstand the heavy load that automated pipettes exert on the racks.  They have a special closed-well structure that keeps each tip in its own well.

 96 & 192 Stack Racks
 
This package gives you the best of both worlds; low cost and a complete high-quality rack.  You assemble the rack yourself and insert the fully racked refills into the rack.  Since you never touch the tips you don’t have to be concerned about contamination from your hands or latex gloves.  These stacks are very stable so you can pipette with a multi-channel pipette right from the stack.

All require high insertion force (jamming) in an attempt to get the top as high up in the pipet controller nozzle as possible. 48 Pipetting Steps
 
Twenty nine different volumes between 1 and 5,000 µL may be dispensed with this pipettor. As many as 48 pipetting steps may be carried out without refilling the reservoir tip. Samples can be dispensed at intervals as fast as 1 second without compromising accuracy or reproducibility. The slender body of the Labpette™ R fits comfortably in the natural contour of your hand. The plunger is located on the top of the unit, like that of a standard pipettor, for easy access and reduction of hand strain. The Labpette™ R is simple to use - select the appropriate tip and lock in place. Then choose the desired volume setting with the click stop adjustment dial and fill the tip with the required volume using the sliding fill lever. To dispense, depress the plunger. For convenience, a chart showing the volume dispensed for each tip size and dial position is located on the body of the pipettor. Labnet FastPette Pro Pipette Controller

Motorized and Ergonomic

The new FastPette Pro is a lightweight and ergonomically shaped motorized pipet controller designed for work with glass or plastic serological pipets from 0.5 to 100 mL range. Conveniently positioned switches allow choosing different operation modes and speed depending on the volume of the serological pipet and liquid viscosity. Additionally, aspirating and dispensing speed is controlled through two comfortable finger triggers.

LCD Display Pipet Controller

When fully charged, the NiMH batteries enable up to eight hours of continuous use. The large LCD display the serological high viscosity Faspette indicates the battery status along with the pipetting mode and speed selected. In order to protect the device against overfilling the FastPette Pro is equipped with a 0.2 µm PTFE filter. The filter, the pipet holder and the nosepiece are autoclavable. The FastPette Pro is also supplied with a universal battery charger, an additional hydrophobic 0.2 µm filter and a two-position charging stand.
