Protect your enzymes, reagents and temperature sensitive samples with the new 5-hour CoolCaddy™.  No need for messy ice baths - simply store it overnight in any standard freezer and its ready to hold tubes, plates and reservoirs at 2 to 4° C for an entire morning or afternoon.  CoolCaddy™ is an ideal work station for PCR and especially for any protocol requiring multi-channel pipetting from a reservoir into strip tubes or 96 well plates.  And, if your work is interrupted, just place the whole CoolCaddy™ (complete with samples and reagents) back in the freezer or refrigerator until you are able to resume your experiment.

The CoolCaddy™ offers the highest level of enzyme protection and is essential for all protocols that call for more than 30 minutes of benchtop prep work.  Additionally, the proprietary refrigerant gel protects enzymes, samples and reagents from freezer fluctuations caused by power outages, open doors, and frost-free cycles.

IsoFreeze Color-Changing Racks take the guesswork out of sample preparation!

 

Using proven IsoFreeze temperature maintenance technology, the filled racks maintain a cool (refrigerator) environment on the bench or the workstation platform. This helps maintain a stable environment for PCR reagents, cells, enzymes, or other temperature-sensitive reagents. Industry Standard format tubes, strips, and 96 well plates, in both standard and low profile well shapes, are accommodated and are efficiently cooled in PCR, QPCR, and many other applications.

 

IsoFreeze PCR Racks are manufactured using polypropylene containing temperature-dependent color-change dye giving at-a-glance temperature indication for each well. There is a dramatic change to a contrasting color at 7ºC. IsoFreeze gel technology means the wells will stay cool for up to 4 hours, depending on ambient temperature and other factors.

DryChill™ Ice-free Cooling Block

 

The DryChill™ cooling blocks are designed to store samples safely on the lab-bench without sample degradation due to temperature increase or fluctuation. Unlike traditional ice buckets, these blocks do not require any ice and are uniquely designed to minimize condensation, resulting in a convenient, mess-free cooling.

 

Each DryChill™ Cooling Block utilizes a proprietary gel refrigerant, designed to maintain cold (but not freezing) temperatures for extended time periods. Once the block temperature begins to warm, the visual indicator alerts the user by changing from purple to pink.

Four blocks are available for accepting a wide variety of commonly used research tubes and plates.

The ice-free FreezeBox™ is a new type of energy-saving environmentally friendly, safe, additive-free freezer box. The ice core aluminum alloy shell with high thermal conductivity of the alloy module ensures that the samples can be quickly cooled. The temperature difference between the sample holes is less than 0.1°C, which maintains a uniform temperature throughout the samples. Because the FreezeBox™ is ice-free, lightweight, and easy to carry it is ideal for collection of biological samples, or even to preserve unstable nucleic acid samples. Its compact design and ice-free technology allow for convenient use in a tissue culture incubator, bio-safety cabinet or any other application with limited space. Usage:
This product is easy to assemble and simple to use. After storing the ice core in the ultra-low temperature refrigerator for several hours place the desired tube module on the chilled core, and insert your sample or plate into the tube module. If you choose to use dry ice, take the core out, directly fill approximately 200g dry ice, then lay the tube modules on top of it.

BetterBox Microtube Storage Boxes

MTC Bio's BetterBox is an all new autoclavable polypropylene storage box, exclusively designed to hold 81 x 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL microtubes neatly and securely in nine rows of nine tubes (snap cap or screw cap tubes fit equally well). The lid cannot become separated or lost thanks to the sturdy hinge and locking clasp. A frosted marking spot is molded into the front edge and the top surface. Available in a rainbow pack of five colors with clear lids and bases, the actual tube rack (colored middle layer) can be snapped out, allowing the base to be easily filled with crushed ice or liquid. The BetterBox is made of autoclavable virgin polypropylene and is freezable to -80° C. The special corner feet are designed to mate with the four grooves in the top of the lid making them interlock and exceptionally easy to stack and transport.

Move our wire and friction-fit racks to exactly where you need your tube. Friction-fit racks securely hold conical or round bottom tubes with 27.5 to 29mm OD.
