ActionsENDURO VE20 Vertical Gel Electrophoresis System
Enduro VE20 Vertical Electrophoresis System (20 x 20 cm), includes glass plates, 2 x 24 well combs, cooling coil and casting base
- Large format vertical gel system
- Electroblotting and gel electrophoresis in same universal gel tank
- Quick assembly system for ease of use
- Complete system allows casting of gels and running of gels at same time increasing efficiency
The ENDURO VE20 is Labnet's new large format vertical gel electrophoresis system. It distinguishes itself in its flexibility of applications and ease of gel casting and set-up requiring only 4 screws to secure 4 gels. The same gel tank can house a large format electroblotting assembly sold separately. This system is ideal for first- and second dimension SDS-PAGE, native, preparative, gradient and high-resolution nucleic acid electrophoresis.
Innovative screw-clamp technology consists of only four screws to secure up to four 20 x 20cm gels. This vertical screw clamp technology distributes pressure evenly along the height of gel rather than in the center to eliminate plate bowing and gel compression, while maintaining a leak-proof seal during casting.
NO TANK TOP ASSEMBLY
A built-in inner buffer chamber within the PAGE insert allows set up to be completed without inclusion of an upper buffer chamber.
CASTING ADVANTAGES
- Dual purpose PAGE insert eliminates time consuming transfer of glass plates between separate casting and gel running components.
- Glass plates with bonded spacers assure clean well formation, correct alignment for leak-free casting and eliminates manually aligning spacers.
- Casting stand design ensures leak-free casting even if glass plates are misaligned.

Wide Format Gel System 23.5 cm x 14 cm
Horizontal Wide Format Gel System for 23.5cm x 14cm gels. Includes UVT gel tray four comb slots and end gates & (4) 50 Tooth combs, 1.5 mm thickness.
System Description
A high-capacity system in a mini-gel size, the Galileo 2314 unit enables rapid separation of large numbers of samples.
The 2314 wide format system accomodates up to 200 samples per run, for quick separation and high thru-put. Because of the wide format of the Galileo 2314 unit, the 23cm wide by 14cm long tray is non-gasketed. Gel casting can be accomplished by taping, or we recommend the G-80-WADJ-CST multi-casting unit for even quicker and more convenient gel casting. The gel tray is UV transmissible, includes an imprinted fluorescent ruler, and has 4 comb slots. Choose from a wide variety of comb options, all with micro-titer spacing for easy loading with multi-channel pipets.
System Features
The Galileo 2314 complete system includes these features:
- Heavy duty lower buffer chamber
- Interlock safety lid with attached leads
- Non-gasketed 23cm wide x 14cm long UV-transparent gel tray with built-in fluorescent ruler and 4 comb slots.

- Unsurpassed block uniformity with patented block technology enables the researcher to use duplicates on Prime Pro 48, whereas triplicates are required on less uniform competitor machines.
The Prime Pro 48 real time PCR system is a new, high specification, economically priced real time thermal cycler from Techne. Made in the UK, the Prime Pro 48 features the highest thermal block uniformity and fastest run time of any block-based qPCR system on the market.
High thermal uniformity and validated sample volumes down to 5ul ensures Prime Pro 48 allows researchers to bring run times for an optimized 40 cycle reaction down to only 15 minutes. PCR efficiency relies on precise temperature control during the denaturation and annealing steps. For the highest accuracy, temperature must remain uniform across the plate, ensuring that all samples are processed equally. The unique thermal block design of Prime Pro 48 achieves this with a
unique heating and cooling system that quickly cycles from one temperature to the next and then achieves a uniform ±0.1°C in every well of the block within a fraction of a second of reaching each dwell temperature. No other block-based qPCR system can achieve similar performance.
The capacity of Prime Pro 48 accommodates a unique and economical 48-well PCR plate, the size of which is only 1/8 the size of a standard 96-well plate. The well format mirrors a 384-well plate therefore allowing the use of a 16-channel micropipette. The small plate cuts reagent costs in half whilst still producing a strong fluorescence signal. Minimizing the plate size also significantly improves thermal uniformity.

Product Information | ||
Labnet's MultiGene Mini is a compact and lightweight thermal cycler, but don't let its small size fool you. This cycler is packed with features typically found only on larger thermal cyclers.
Excellent accuracy and uniformity combine with fast ramping rates to provide quality results. An algorithm calculates sample temperature, based on Vol, to control heating and cooling of the block. This means that samples reach programmed temperatures quickly, without any overshoot or lagging. Powerful Peltier units provide ramping rates as fast as 5°C/second.
Programming the MultiGene Mini is simple and intuitive. The control pad combines function keys, a key pad and arrow keys for easy navigation and entering of parameters. The large graphical display is easy to read. In addition to the standard parameters of time and temperature, the software also allows for successive time and temperature increments and decrements (for touchdown amplification and auto-extension), auto-restart after a power failure, end of cycling elongation steps and extended soaks at 4°C. One hundred programs, each with up to nine segments, can be stored in memory.
The MultiGene Mini is available with either a 24 x 0.2 ml tube block or 18 x 0.5 ml tube block. Blocks are easily interchanged. Units come standard with an adjustable heated lid. The lid features a slip gear to provide proper compression to prevent sample evaporation without deforming the tubes.
