Scintillation Vials
High quality scintillation vials available in three sizes to satisfy a range of applications. Designed to provide consistently low background counts and are suitable for low activity counting. The smaller sizes are very economical to use since they require smaller quantities of solvent.
The 20 mL Scintillation Vial has multiple uses in scintillation counting, gamma counting, chromatography, sample storage and culturing. Because of its leak-tight cap it is also commonly used to store and transport histological specimens in 10% formalin. This scintillation vial provides a high degree of resistance to organic solvents and sufficient translucence so that reagent levels can be easily seen. The unique thread design of the closure permits the vial to be sealed tight with an easy 1/4 turn and with minimum pressure.
The 6.5 mL Scintillation Vials are securely sealed by simply snapping the caps on. The cap is conveniently removed with an easy 1/4 turn to the left.
The 4 mL Polyethylene Scintillation Vial uses a full turn polypropylene screw cap. This small volume scintillation vial is the most economical size to use because it requires the least amount of solvent.
96-Deep Well Plate, Round Well, U Bottom 45mm
This 8 mm round well U-bottom plate combines working volume with automation friendly design. Sturdy and warp-resistant design with ultra-flat surfaces and rigid construction, this plate is ideal for high throughput screening, sample collection, compound storage, screening, and combinatorial chemistry applications. It is compatible with stackers, grippers, heater/cooler blocks, and other instruments that comply with the ANSI/SLAS 2004-1 (SBS) footprint.
Raised rims on each well help protect from cross-contamination, minimize sample loss during storage, and make for enhanced sealing with adhesive films, silicone mats, or heat sealing films.
Made from medical grade virgin polypropylene (no mold release agents or regrind); certified RNase, DNase, DNA, and Pyrogen Free.
Manufactured of inert, chemically resistant, and exceptionally clear virgin polypropylene, this plate can withstand temperatures down to -80C and centrifugation at up to 4,000 x RCF.

Glass-coated, polypropylene microplates. The 200 nm thick coating of silicone dioxide creates a cradle of non-binding and inert glass to protect your sample.

Radtape's phosphorescent, adhesive labels may be cut to the specific size and shape needed for each individual membrane, dried gel or microarray. An ordinary pen may be used to mark the label using the investigator's own codes and symbols. The custom label may then be peeled from its backing and affixed to the membrane, gel or microarray. Once placed against film, Radtape exposes a negative image of the markings directly onto the autorad, thus producing a permanent record of the experiment. Choose RadTape Plus for a heavy duty, water-proof alternative to RadTape.
These optically clear polyester films are ideally suited for Real Time PCR (qPCR). They feature an inert, ultra-clear, and strong encapsulated silicone adhesive that provides extraordinary performance in real-time PCR applications.
Encapsulated silicone greatly reduces the risk of sample contamination due to exposure to adhesive. Once the film is pressed onto the plate, the raised portion of the well penetrates the encapsulation and a tight seal is formed on just that surface (not over the sample). This silicone seal adheres aggressively and diminishes the possibility of "Edge Effect".
The plasticized backing of this film is scored on both ends to allow for two handed (precise) placement on the plate. Both film and adhesive maintain incredible clarity and are the choice for highly demanding manual and automated processes.

The polyester films are a great general purpose seal; ideal for sample protection and elimination of well-to-well sample cross contamination. The acrylic adhesive offers a strong bond that seals tightly on polypropylene and polystyrene plates.
This seal is ideally suited for short term storage, Elisa assays, prevention of sample loss, and general lab usage.
The paper backing of this film is scored on both ends to allow for two handed (precise) placement on the plate.
For PCR applications see our standard PCR film or our Real Time PCR film.
For applications where accessing samples through the seal with pipet tips or a probe is required, see the pierceable aluminum (MID-PCR-200) film.
