Nest Sealing Mats for 96 Well Plates
Nest silicon sealing mats are designed for 96-well storage. Produced from the highest quality research-grade silicone, they are specially designed to provide a positive and airtight seal.
Mats fit tightly into wells preventing evaporation of VOCs, sample loss in storage, cross contamination, and reducing the risk of aerosols and pathogens venting during the automation process. They work in a wide range of temperatures for incubation and storage applications; especially for storage at higher temperatures or for applications involving aggressive solvents.
These seals go well with automation as well as manual laboratory protocols. Often used in high-throughput applications or those involving accessing the sample through the cover multiple times.

These Precleaned Volatile Organic Analysis (VOA) Vials are assembled with solid top white polypropylene caps and are PTFE lined.
As CLASS 2 (Pre-cleaned) containers the vials are processed according to E.P.A. recommended procedures:

- Oven dried

Protran nitrocellulose membranes are the most frequently specified transfer media in the world for a wide range of applications. Protran membranes are manufactured using 100% pure nitrocellulose to ensure the highest binding capacity possible. Other membranes referred to as "nitrocellulose" may actually contain large amounts of cellulose acetate, which will lower the protein binding capacity. In addition to high binding capacity, Protran nitrocellulose membranes inherently have very low background. The superior surface properties of the membrane guarantees superior signal-to-noise ratios, without the need for stringent washing conditions. Unlike PVDF membranes, Protran nitrocellulose requires no methanol pre-wetting step. This makes it the membrane of choice for proteins that prefer aqueous environments. Prior to transfer, the membrane is simply wet in water and then in the transfer buffer, with no other necessary pre-treatment steps. Protran membranes exhibit the best handling strangth of all pure nitrocellulose membranes.

Limited volume R.A.M. Vials are composed of the glass vial and a clear glass insert fused together thus eliminating any movement of the insert and concerns about contaminants around the fused seam/space between the neck of the vial and the insert. These vials are available in clear or amber borosilicate glass and accept 9 mm screw caps. Compatible with most autosamplers including Agilent.
