The Krystal microplates are supplied white for lumines-cence/ fluorescence or black for fluorescence assays. Clear well bottoms allow for use with instruments that read above or below the plate.

Three formats are avaiable to meet a range of applica-tions: 384 x 120 µl/well, 96 x 350 µl/well and 24 x 3 ml/ well. All can be ordered tissue culture treated. The 24 well plates are also available with a high binding irradi-ated surface.

Both the 384 well and 96 well plates are supplied in packages of 100 or in an HTS pack that includes 4 sleeves of 25 tissue culture treated plates with lids. The 24 well plates are supplied 68 plates to a pack with the exception of the tissue culture treated plates which are supplied individually wrapped with lids in packages of 56.

Bar coding is available for all plates upon request.

PCR Plates

Standard profile, PCR plate with no skirt. This universal plate design is compatible with all standard 0.2mL block thermal cyclers. Plate is easily oriented with corner notch and molded in alpha-numeric.

Manufactured of low extractable, optically clear, virgin, medical grade polypropylene specifically for the rigorous demands of the research laboratory. Uniformly thin-walls promote rapid even thermal transfer for consistent amplification and increased recovery rate.

Plates are thin, flexible, and easy to cut. Raised rims on each well help protect from cross contamination, minimize sample loss during storage, and make for enhanced sealing with adhesive films, silicone mats, or heat-sealing films.

These 96-deep well plates are ideal for separations of nucleic acids and clean-up procedures with magnetic beads. The unique square top with a round bottom design allows for maximum volume, optimum mixing, and enhanced separation/recovery of magnetic beads. The Multi-Swipe plate-sealing paddle ensures a secure and uniform, pressure-sensitive seal around all wells and is an economical alternative to plate rollers. Plate-sealing paddles are designed for use with all plate types.

  • Reusable, recyclable
  • The semi-soft, pliable sealing surfaces prevent the film/foil from being torn or ripped
  • The non-flat contoured side is designed to go down to the plate; the center raised textured surface provides a non-slip finger hold
  • Features two sealing surfaces: the shorter length fits inside the walls of raised-rim plates; the longer length is ideal for flat-top and deep-well plates
  • Features two unique sized corner radii: 1/8 inch (0.3175 centimeter) and 1/16 inch (0.1588 centimeter) to seal around the plate perimeter; the tighter radii is for use with raised-rim PCR plates

Recommended Usage Tips

  • The printed side is used to seal the film to the plate
  • Multiple swipes of the sealing paddle in both directions is highly recommended
  • A 10 minute or greater dwell time at room temperature before processing increases the film-to-plate bond
