Accommodates 0.5, 1.5, and 2.0 mL tubes and can withstand temperatures as low as -90°C. These boxes will easily fit 2 in. standard freezer storage racks and drawers. The telescoping style lids are clear with frosted I.D. panels on two sides. Bases are available in natural, black, or assorted fluorescent colors.

Reversible Microtube Storage Racks

This reversible rack comes with a simple-to-use removable hinged lid that snaps in place on either side of the rack. Rack and lid are molded out of autoclavable polypropylene. PCR® side of the rack has 168 wells that hold 0.2 mL tubes. The wells will accommodate 8 or 12 tube strips or individual tubes. The opposite side of the rack has 40 wells that hold 0.5 mL tubes. We have also placed 12 wells for 1.5 mL tubes on both sides of the rack for your convenience. Available in natural or assorted colors (blue, green, purple, yellow, and orange). Packs of 5. Benchmark™ MyBath™ Water Bath Series

The MyBath™ series is designed to guarantee superior accuracy and performance in a compact footprint. With four sizes to choose from, there is a MyBath™ to fit every lab.

Easy-to-use controls allow the user to digitally select and monitor settings. Adjustable in 0.1°C increments, the temperature is shown on a large, 3-digit display. The proprietary Quick-CAL™ feature allows for simple, in-lab calibration. High-efficiency insulation maintains temperature stability and uniformity within the bath while keeping the housing cool to the touch.

All the MyBath™ models feature seamless, stainless-steel chambers for easy cleaning and long life. The chambers resist rust and have no corners to collect dirt or contamination. The larger 8 L and 12 L units have drains for hassle-free water changes.

The 4 L, 8 L, and 12 L models include a see-through cover that can be removed or flipped back on a rear hinge to conserve bench space. The lid's gabled design will divert condensation to the front and back of the bath, away from samples.

Racks are available to accommodate 1.5 / 2.0 mL (B2000-4-T1520); 15 mL (B2000-8-T150); and 50 mL (B2000-8-T500) in the 8 L and 12 L MyBath™.

IsoFreeze Color-Changing Racks take the guesswork out of sample preparation!

Using proven IsoFreeze temperature maintenance technology, the filled racks maintain a cool (refrigerator) environment on the bench or the workstation platform. This helps maintain a stable environment for PCR reagents, cells, enzymes, or other temperature-sensitive reagents. Industry Standard format tubes, strips, and 96 well plates, in both standard and low profile well shapes, are accommodated and are efficiently cooled in PCR, QPCR, and many other applications.

IsoFreeze PCR Racks are manufactured using polypropylene containing temperature-dependent color-change dye giving at-a-glance temperature indication for each well. There is a dramatic change to a contrasting color at 7ºC. IsoFreeze gel technology means the wells will stay cool for up to 4 hours, depending on ambient temperature and other factors.

The optimized buffer chemistry allows for efficient reverse transcription and PCR of problematic sequences with significant secondary structure (such as GC-rich targets). The PR1MA One-Step RT-PCR Kit is ideal for determining the presence or absence of RNA templates and quantifying expression through qualitative analysis of RNA transcription levels. PR1MA™ qMAX™ cDNA Synthesis Kits

PR1MA™ now offers two cDNA Synthesis Kits, to meet a range of requirements.
 
The original cDNA Synthesis Kit is a 2-tube format for easy reaction setup and is ideal for 4 pg to 0.5 µg of input RNA. One tube includes our exceptionally stable Reverse Transcriptase combined with a potent RNAse inhibitor, and the other tube contains a 5X reaction buffer with an optimal mixture of anchored oligo (dT) primers and random hexamers to produce a non-biased population of cDNA. 
 
The 1st Strand cDNA Synthesis Flex Kit includes four components: a high-capacity Reverse Transcriptase, an optimized 5X buffer, separate solutions of oligo (dT) primers, and random hexamer primers. This multi-component format is ideal for 10 pg to 2.0 µg of input RNA and allows for greater flexibility in assay design.

PR1MA™ dNTPs

• Supplied as a ready-to-use 40 mM mix or a set of 4 separate 100 mM solutions

PR1MA™ dNTP's are purified by HPLC in a strict process that results in greater than 99% purity. The stringent purification process eliminates PCR inhibitors such as tetraphosphates and pyrophosphates that can interfere with the sensitivity of your PCR and reduce yields.
The 40 mM dNTP Mix is a single tube that contains premixed dNTPs at a concentration of 10 mM each. The 100 mM dNTP Set contains four individual tubes, one each of dATP, dCTP, dGTP and dTTP. The nucleotides are supplied in ultra-pure water as an ammonium salt. Both the set and mix are stable for 24 months when stored at -20ºC.

Extensive quality control testing is performed to ensure the dNTPs are free of nuclease, protease and nickase activity. Each lot is performance tested in standard PCR, long PCR and qPCR reactions to assess reproducibility and sensitivity.

 PR1MA™ Hot Start Taq

• Exceptional sensitivity for low-copy PCR
• Ideal for multiplex PCR and amplification of GC-rich DNA
• Same enhanced features as PR1MA Taq Polymerase
• Buffer optimized for fast cycling and reproducibility 

Engineered for controlled polymerase activity, PR1MA™ Hot Start Taq is bound with a monoclonal antibody that blocks enzyme activity. This allows reactions to be set up at room temperature without the risk of non-specific amplification.

When samples are ready, the reaction mixture is heated to 95°C to denature the antibody and initiate the reaction. Similar to the standard PR1MA™ Taq, Hot Start Taq is provided with a 5X buffer, or in a ready-to-use 2X Master Mix. The Master Mix can be ordered with or without an incorporated red gel loading dye.  The Red Dye Master Mix incorporates a red-loading dye that allows amplified samples to be loaded directly on an agarose gel.  The red color aids in visualization during pipetting, and higher density of the buffer ensures that the samples will drop into the gel wells.
