- A unique combination of PCR products and a number of proprietary plasmids digested with appropriate restriction enzymes to yield 11 fragments, suitable for use as molecular weight standards for agarose gel electrophoresis.
- The DNA includes fragments ranging from 100-1,500 base pairs. The 500 and 1,500 base pair bands have increased intensity to serve as reference points.
- The approximate mass of DNA in each band is provided (0.5µg a load) for approximating the mass of DNA in comparably intense samples of similar size.

Bullseye 100bp DNA Ladder consists of 11 DNA fragments ranging in size from 100-1500 base pairs (bp). 6µl will yield at least 30ng DNA in any single band. The intensity of the 500bp band has been increased to serve as a reference for easy identification.

Loading Buffer Composition:
10mM Tris-HCl

Usage: Add at least 6µl Bullseye 100bp DNA Ladder directly to wells designated for markers. You may need more than 6µl of ladder, depending on well size and level of intensity needed to visualize the bands.

Our compression molded 96-round plug, silicone sealing mats for PCR plates minimize sample evaporation in a wide range of temperatures. These mats are chemically resistant and reusable; containing no adhesives or extractables to contaminate samples. Made of research-grade silicone, they can be autoclaved, and following a 10% bleach wash and ethanol rinse protocol may be reused.
Wells are scored (cut 80% of the way through, but not all of the way) to allow for sample access via pipettor, syringe, or probe. These scored perforations will seal themselves, after penetration, ensuring an airtight closure to the well.- The CleanSpot is designed to fulfill a very important laboratory need...control of PCR contamination.

PR1MA™ Cod Uracil-DNA Glycosylase
PR1MA™ Cod Uracil-DNA Glycosylase (cUNG) is a recombinant, thermolabile enzyme that removes uracil from DNA. It is ideal for preventing carry over contamination during RNA or DNA amplification reactions that substitute dUTP for dTTP. cUNG is the only commercially available UNG that is completely and irreversibly inactivated by moderate heat treatment, unlike bacterial versions of the enzyme. Cod UNG treatment in combination with targeted pre-amplification using dUTP provides a simple and efficient solution to eliminate carry-over contamination and the generation of false positives and inaccurate quantification.
