The Hettich ROTINA 420/ ROTINA 420R is a high performance benchtop centrifuge for large volumes, yet not overly large in size. The Z306 is a compact and economical centrifuge with a series of rotor options making it well-suited for clinical, industrial, and research laboratories. Despite the impressive capacity of the 4 x 145 mL rotor (capable of supporting 8 x 50 mL or 12 x 15 mL with the use of rotor inserts), the Z306 is surprisingly compact with a footprint of just over 14 x 18 inches. An optional rotor is also available for microplates (2 x 3 microplates), positioning this model as one of the smallest, and least expensive centrifuges capable of high-speed microplate centrifugation.

Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification, which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy-to-use front panel can adjust accel/decel rates and change the end-of-run alarm tone.

The Z446 universal centrifuge series offers the highest capacity of any benchtop Hermle-Benchmark model. With aircraft grade, premium alloy construction, the 4 x 750 mL swing-out rotor can withstand centrifugal forces upwards of 4,500 xg with full loads of up to 28 x 50 mL or 68 x 15 mL tubes.

Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification, which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy-to-use front panel can adjust accel/decel rates and change the end-of-run alarm tone. Rotor exchange is simple and requires less than one minute. An included rotor wrench can be used to loosen and install all rotors. For applications requiring increased capacity over the Z306 or Z326 series centrifuges, the Z366 series offer a unique Mid-Range swing-out rotor that accepts a variety of different tubes, including up to 16 x 50 mL or 40 x 15 mL. Despite this step up in capacity, the Z366 maintains a surprisingly compact design, with the standard air-cooled model featuring a footprint of 17 x 20 inches.

In addition to the popular 4 x 250 mL swing-out rotor, a variety of additional rotors are also available. Angled rotors range from a 24 x 1.5 mL micro-rotor to a high capacity 6 x 250 mL rotor.

A 2 x 3 microplate rotor is also available, as well as a 4 x PCR strips (8-strips) rotor.

Several rotors are available, including a popular 4 position swinging bucket rotor with a wide offering of accessories for the centrifugation of tubes, bottles, plates and blood bags. The high capacity rectangular buckets accept microplates directly or a variety of tube inserts for accommodating as many as 40 x 50 mL conical or 96 x 15 mL conical tubes per run.

Advanced microprocessor controls allow for instant rotor identification, which automatically converts the rotational speed to the relevant g-force (rcf), preventing the user from setting a speed above the capabilities of the installed rotor. In addition to retrieving up to 99 saved programs, the easy to use front panel can adjust accel/decel rates, time, and convert operation between rpm and rcf. The powerful refrigeration system, with a range of -20° to 40°C, also features a pre-cool function that ensures the temperature of the chamber is optimized for any application.

A standard floor standing model is available (height: 38.6 in.) which includes a convenient lower drawer for the storage of frequently used rotors and accessories. In addition, a space saving "underbench" model (height: 27.5 in.) is available when under the counter storage is preferred. Both models are equipped with wheels for easy maneuverability around the laboratory.
