SHEL LAB Shaking Water Bath
SHEL LAB Reciprocating Water Baths deliver precise temperature control and a smooth reciprocal shaking motion. Temperature and oscillation controls feature an easy to read P.I.D. microprocessor temperature controller and an independent safety thermostat.
The bath may be used with or without oscillation. Shaking speed is variable from 20 to 200 oscillations per minute, and the stroke length can be adjusted to three separate settings: 0.5, 1.0, or 1.5 inches to minimize the chance of accidental spillage. Also, the unique basket support system is designed to eliminate tank wear, yet still provide full support and free action for a heavily loaded basket.
A durable finish on the housing prevents corrosion and chipping. In addition to a stainless steel tank, the bath platform tray is designed for optimum temperature uniformity. Maximum temperature is achieved using the stainless steel gable cover, which is designed to prevent condensate from dripping onto samples and assures uniform temperature conditions. These units feature:
- Microprocessor Control
- Independent Oscillation and Temperature Controls
- Recessed Heating Element to Prevent Burnout
- Adjustable Stroke Length
- Great for heat inactivating FBS
- 2 year limited warranty, excludes tank

Shaker Orbit 300 Digital
Three interchangeable platforms (available separately) accommodate a variety of sample containers to make the Orbit 300 a truly multipurpose shaker. The flat platform, covered with a nonslip rubber mat, holds plates, dishes, boxes, etc. The microplate platform will accommodate up to four microplates. The remaining platform has spring loaded retaining bars that adjust to hold flasks, bottles, racks and other containers in place.Time and speed are set and displayed digitally. Values are shown on the large, three digit LED. The broad speed range allows the Orbit 300 to be used for gentle mixing as well as vigorous agitation.
The shaker housing is constructed of heavy gauge, coated steel to reduce motor noise and lend stability to the unit. This compact shaker can be used in temperature controlled environments making it ideal for cold room or incubator use.Specifications:

Stuart Analog Hotplate
Stylish and economical general purpose hotplate stirrers designed with safety as well as performance in mind. The compact shape takes up less bench space and makes storage easier. The hotplate has an innovative LED temperature indicator scale and can also be used in conjunction with the SCT1 digital contact thermometer to accurately control sample temperature.
The "Hot" warning light will flash whenever the plate temperature is above 50° C even when the hotplate is turned off and unplugged from the mains. Powerful magnets and motor give stirring speeds up to 2,000 rpm and is capable of mixing large volumes (up to 15 L).
Model UC152 has a glass ceramic top which has excellent chemical resistance. The surface is easy to clean and the thermal properties allow very high plate temperatures while ensuring the edges stay cooler, reducing the chance of accidental burns. The white surface ensures good visibility of colour changes.
The hotplate stirrers have an integral fitting for a retort rod and are supplied with 2 x 25 mm PTFE coated stir bars.

The Benchmark series of digital dry baths offer digital control over both temperature and time, eliminating the need for an external thermometer
or timer. Available in three configurations, the digital dry baths offer capacity for up to four blocks. They are extremely space efficient. (The four block model can accommodate up to 96x1.5ml tubes in less than a square foot of bench space.)
The cavities of the high grade aluminum blocks are precision machined to match the conical size and shape of 0.5, 1.5, 2.0, 15 and 50ml tube sizes, providing unsurpassed temperature uniformity. Assorted blocks are available for compatibility with nearly all common tube sizes. Custom blocks are also
available upon request, please check Benchmark's web site for a list of all available blocks.
All Benchmark dry baths offer a built-in user recalibration function, to guarantee long term temperature accuracy. Each dry bath includes an
easy to use block lifter, with a temperature insulated handle for quick, convenient exchange of blocks, even while they're still hot.
