Minux® S712 Semi-Automatic Rotary Microtome combines manual sectioning and semi-automated setup. Separate control panels allow sample advance and retreat, trimming and sectioning conversion, thickness adjustment, position memory, and half-knife function. Historical record system shows operation and alarm logs on a 5 In. touch screen to examine the microtome usage and facilitate information tracking. BioPulverizer

The Bio-Pulverizer reduces tissue hard-frozen in liquid nitrogen to a fine powder. Called freeze-fracturing, this method is especially useful for tough, fibrous tissues such as skin, cartilage, cornea, etc. The Bio-Pulverizer consists of a hole machined in a stainless steel base, into which fits a special piston. In a typical procedure, up to 10g of animal or plant tissue is hard-frozen in liquid nitrogen and placed in the pre-chilled Bio-Pulverizer. The piston is mounted on an easy to use trigger mechanism that is squeezed to deliver a blow to the brittle tissue reducing it to a fine powder. Freeze fracturing with the Bio-Pulverizer is also useful for extracting labile tissue metabolites and as a preliminary step to other homogenization techniques. 2 year warranty

How the Bio-Pulverizer Works

  • Place the Bio-Pulverizer in the insulated container and cool thoroughly with either liquid nitrogen (preferred) or a dry-ice/alcohol mixture.
  • Place pre-frozen tissue in the well of the mortar. Re-insert the pestle into the well.
  • Remove the mortar from the insulated container and pulverize the tissue with one or two blows to the pestle.
  • Invert the mortar and empty the powdered contents for subsequent homogenization or extraction procedure.

Genie PURIST ultrapure water system produces Type I ultrapure water from RO, distilled or deionized water, and it is designed for critical laboratory applications, offering desired solutions for research professionals who work with a variety of applications utilizing Type I ultrapure water in the lab. The quality of ultrapure water meets or exceeds ASTM, CLSI, CAP, and ISO Type I water standards. The system is CE/RoHS certified. Rephile provides full documents support to meet user's GMP, GSP, GAP, GCP, GLP requirements.

Design & Functions

  • The system can be linked to multiple dispensers via wired or wireless.
  • An optional automatic system shut-off upon detection of any water leakage.
  • The main system can be tucked away to save precious bench space since it fits well to be wall-mounted, set on the shelf or under the sink.
  • A universal water level sensor can be provided to prevent the system from pumping air.

Effective TOC level controlment

  • Built-in 185/254 nm dual wavelength lamp reduces TOC level in ultrapure water.

Easy Operation and Maintenance

  • Performance history, alarms and alerts information, maintenance data of consumables as well as key parts are logged and traceable from a simple RFID scan at installation.

Cartridges and Parts

  • Cartridge: Ultra purification cartridge is filled with LeFilTM and OrganeFilTM media to remove trace ions and organics. A full range of cartridges for various applications, including ultra-low TOC, low Mg, low boron, ICP, and DI type.
  • Control console: 8-inch console controls system and peripheral devices (Such as leak protector and tank sanitization module). All operations can be done on the console by touching the screen.  The control console can be placed on the bench or inside a drawer for further flexibility and space-saving.  The console screen and dispenser screens are waterproof. You can operate the console and dispenser with latex gloves on.  The system has two-level password protection on the display menu for safety purposes.
  • Dispenser: The volumetric function can automatically deliver the water volume you need once it is set up. With the adjusting button on a control console or a dispenser, you can dispense water at the flow rate you need up to 2 liters per minute. A dispenser handle can be set on the dispenser stand, on the main system, or even hanging onto other places to free up maximum bench space.
  • Final Filter: Various final filters (optional) are applicable to ensure ultrapure water without particles, bacteria, or pyrogen.

Shortwave UV Light for Surface Disinfection
The Mystaire® line of UV light dead air boxes are designed to provide powerful UV irradiation energy to effectively kill bacteria and viruses on the surface of various objects.  The UV Box is designed with a microprocessor controller that constantly monitors the operation of the UV bulbs.  The microprocessor controller has a digital UV time that permits the end user to set the irradiation time up to 59 minutes.  Each UV Box is equipped with a door position switch that turns off the UV light if the door of the box is opened.  The door position switch, in combination with the microprocessor controller, only allows for the UV lights to be turned on when the door is in the closed position.

The UV Box’s main chamber is constructed of thermally fused polypropylene and the clear door is polycarbonate.  The polycarbonate door has the natural ability to reflect UV light and does not allow transmission of the UV energy, thus making it the safest choice for a clear viewing material.

Disclaimer:  End users should consider material compatibility before exposure to UV light as repeated exposure to shortwave UV light has been found to damage certain materials. The Mystaire UV light box is only designed to provide UV-C surface disinfection. This product does not sterilize.

AEOLUS™ Compact CO2 Incubator Shaker

The CO2 Incubator Shaker features Temperature, Shaking, CO2 Concentration, and Humidity controls. Its' stackable design helps maximize floor space, with the capability to stack up to three units high.

Three axis eccentric balance system provides stable and reliable shaking. Terminal feedback system ensures precise shaking speed. Brushless DC motor is highly efficient, quiet, durable, and produces negligible heat that does not affect the chamber temperature. Combination of Proportional-Integral Derivative control and Fuzzy control for temperature ensure temperature accuracy within ±0.1°C.

Program mode allows user to set up to 12 segments of varying temperature and speed. Innovative design. Highly efficient inverter compressor refrigeration allows for temperatures as low as 18°C below room temperature with low energy consumption (minimum temperature of 4°C). Infrared CO2 sensor provides accurate and reliable CO2 detection (IS-ACMA only). Intuitive 7” capacitive touchscreen makes many functions, such as setting alarm parameters, easy to complete. Slide rail platform makes it easy to load and unload fixtures. Noise reduction design keeps the instrument noise level to 55 dB Wifi monitoring allows the user to stay in touch with the instrument even outside of the lab.

  • Screen Lock: The display screen has an automatic lock screen with password protection function. This prevents any accidental or unauthorized alterations of the programmed operations or settings.
  • Pull Out Rail Platform: Operators can easily pull the platform out to load or unload fixtures. Only one locking handle in the middle of the platform makes the process fast and convenient.
  • Excellent Temperature Control Performance: When the incubator is at a stable temperature of 37°C, the uniformity is ±0.3°C.
  • Strong Cooling Capacity: The incubator chamber can be cooled to 18°C below the ambient temperature (Lowest temp is 4°C).
  • Inverter Compressor: Makes cooling a noiseless, durable, and highly efficient process while also saving energy.
  • Three Units Can Be Stacked: This product can be purchased as a single, double, or triple stack.
  • Bi-Directional Ultraviolet Sterilization: The chamber is equipped with two sets of UV sterilization light components to enhance the germicidal irradiation effect and reach all areas of the chamber.
  • Ultra Quiet Design: The noise level is less than 55dB when incubator is running and cooling (loudest process), providing a quiet environment for the operator.
  • Slow Acceleration and Deceleration: Shaking function starts and stops slowly to prevent large shear forces on the bacteria or cells. High Pressure Water Rinse: Both the platform and chamber feature an integrated draining system that is fast and efficient.
