Simple, yet versatile, the Mini LabRoller Rotator is designed for mixing samples in both a horizontal and vertical plane. The unit accepts a broad assortment of tube sizes as well as micro plates. Safe for cold room or incubator use, this mixer is ideal for a wide range of applications in areas such as biochemistry, molecular biology, clinical testing and histochemistry.
Compact and sleek design. A small footprint and efficient housing design conserve valuable bench space and make the Mini LabRoller Rotator suitable for any size laboratory. It has an ambient operating range of 4° to 40°C and will easily fit into most incubators. Lightweight and portable, the unit is easily moved from the bench to a biological or chemical hood. Simple construction allows for easy cleaning and decontamination.
Wide range of motion The Mini LabRoller Rotator is uniquely designed so that the level of agitation can be adjusted from gentle rolling, through two levels of tumbling, to forceful end over end mixing simply by changing the rotisserie position. When a rotisserie is inserted horizontally (tubes held vertically), an end over end motion is produced. The unit can then be used for simple rotating, or rested on either end to create a tumbling motion.
Interchangeable rotisseries hold numerous tube sizes The Mini LabRoller Rotator is supplied with a rotisserie for 36 x 1.5 or 2.0 ml tubes. Two additional rotisseries are available separately. The first accommodates ten conical 15 ml or other tubes with a 15-17 mm diameter as well as twelve tubes with a 12-13 mm diameter. The second holds six 50 ml conical tubes. Microplates can be used on any of the three rotisseries.

D1000 Handheld Homogenizer

The D1000 is designed to rapidly homogenize, emulsify, suspend and disrupt biological samples. Ideal for use with microtubes, the homogenizer works well with samples from 0.1 mL to 250 mL (depending upon the generator probe used).
The D1000 is a rotor stator homogenizer, and works by drawing the sample, in liquid into the generator probe with the variable speed rotor, and then forcing it out through the slots in the stator. This achieves mechanical shearing of the sample. As the sample is repeatedly drawn up and forced through the stator, additional shearing takes place. Most samples are completely homogenized in 30 seconds or less. A powerful, 130 W motor drives the rotor at speeds from 8,500 to 30,000 rpm. Speed is adjustable in six steps to meet sample processing needs. A separate on/off switch allows the homogenizer to be left at the appropriate setting.
Generator probes are available in four sizes. The 5 mm and 7 mm diameter have a 50 mm length for use with samples in microtubes. The 10 mm x 115 mm is ideal for use with 15 and 50 mL tubes and 14 mm x 130 mm, for 50 mL tubes and vessels up to 250 mL. The unit is supplied with one each of the 5 mm and 7 mm generator probes. All the generator probes are made of stainless steel and can be sterilized by autoclaving.

The Tissue-Tearor is a rotor/stator type tissue homogenizer that can rapidly homogenize, disperse, and emulsify samples in 0.2 - 1000 ml of liquid. During operation, the suspended material is drawn into the core of the homogenizer by a rotor turning at up to 35,000 rpm. The material is repeatedly cycled through six narrow slits in the stator where it is rapidly sheared and disintegrated by high-frequency mechanical action. Complete homogenization of tissues (muscle, liver, breast tissue, etc.) is usually achieved in ten to thirty seconds. Little, if any, heat is produced during the process. Unlike most other Brands of rotor/stator type homogenizers, the Tissue-Tearor comes complete - that is, with both a motor and a probe (aka, generator, dispersing tool) - both included in one price.

PRO 250 Homogenizer
High-Power Homogenization in a Hand-Held Unit. The PRO250 is a perfect fit between the PRO200 and the larger benchtop PRO homogenizers. It's light enough to be hand-held for convenience, yet it has extra torque for processing difficult samples. Combining the power of a 3/4 hp, 576-watt motor with a smooth variable speed control (10,000 to 30,000 rpm), the PRO250 can handle samples from 0.05ml to several liters. Like all PRO homogenizers, the PRO250 accepts PRO QUICK CONNECT rotor stator generators for fast and virtually effortless changeover. The PRO250 also accommodates PRO SAFETY SEAL and ST (Sealed Tube) Series Chamber Assemblies to contain aerosols and prevent contamination, making it extremely safe when processing hazardous materials. These BenchMate MS1 and MS4 Magnetic Stirrer units have no moving parts, therefore there are no parts to wear out due to friction. The adjustable speed range of these units depends on the model. The MS1 speed range is from 15 rpm to 1,500 rpm and the MS4 speed range is from 15 rpm to 1,200 rpm. With PRO's standard Micro-Homogenizing Package, which includes the PRO200 homogenizer and the industry's smallest generator, the 5 x 75 mm generator, volumes as small as 0.03 mL can be easily processed in a matter of seconds. Whether gently mixing, extracting RNA/DNA or destroying the cell wall, the PRO Micro-Homogenizing Package can effectively and efficiently process your sample.The PRO Micro-Homogenizing Package is available in three styles, the Standard version, Deluxe version or Premium version. The Deluxe Micro-Homogenizing Package features two generators,the 5 x 75 mm generator as well as the 7 x 95 mm generator. The 7 x 95 mm generator features a saw tooth design, which makes it ideal for processing tougher samples. The Premium Micro-Homogenizing Package is the ultimate setup for microprocessing.
