Isohelix™ GeneFix™ Saliva Mini and Midi DNA Isolation Kits
The Isohelix™ GeneFix™ DNA kits use either mini or midi-formatted high-performance silica spin columns (specifically optimized) for the purification of DNA from Saliva. The isolated genomic DNA is highly purified with a typical A260/280 ratio above 1.8 and A260/230 above 1.0 with a high molecular DNA weight derived directly from the saliva DNA samples, most importantly showing minimum losses from the easy-to-use protocol.
The Mini format is especially useful when the Scientist wishes to isolate 0.5 mL to 1.0 mL aliquots of saliva stabilized from the GeneFix™ Saliva collector. The midi-format is used when the whole 2 mL of saliva needs to be isolated in a one-batch protocol. The DNA produced from both systems is suitable for use in the most demanding of downstream processing applications.

COLOR CODED-Each color coded Tough-Spot has a distinctly different color to identify similar samples and also includes a white area to clearly write a quick note about it.
SAFETY-Lab safety is always a top priority. Use the Biohazard or Radioactive Tough-Spots to identify tubes or other vessels containing hazardous materials.

Drosophila Bottles
Drosophila bottles are available in 6oz square bottoms and 8oz round bottoms, and there are two materials to choose from: polypropylene and polyethylene.
The polypropylene material is autoclavable and can be reused. The polyethylene material has stable performance and good tolerance to chemical substances. Specially designed neck can prevent the closures from falling in. Available in bulk or tray packaging.
