They're great for samples that are too large for a Green Kit and deliver extra homogenizing power for challenging samples like bone, tumors, and hard-shelled insects such as ticks. RINO Safe-lock tube bead lysis kits are made of high-quality polypropylene and are easy to open and close. These tubes can be used in any current microcentrifuge model Bullet Blender®.

2.0 mL Tubes, Silica Beads (D1031-01, D1031-05, D1031-10)

2 mL tubes are prefilled with silica (glass) beads for bead homogenization. Beads are acid washed, and heat treated. Suitable for use in most bead homogenizers including the BeadBug 3, BeadBug 6 and BeadBlaster 24. 

2.0 mL Tubes, Zirconium Beads (D1032-01, D1032-05, D1032-10, D1032-15, D1032-30, D1032-SK)

 

2 mL tubes are prefilled with zirconium (ceramic) beads for bead homogenization. Beads are acid washed and heat treated. Tubes are filled in a process tested by qPCR to be free of stray DNA. Triple-Pure - High Impact. Suitable for use in most bead homogenizers including the BeadBug 3, BeadBug 6 and BeadBlaster 24.

 

5.0 mL Tubes, Zirconium Beads (D1034-30)

 

5 mL tubes are prefilled with 3 mm zirconium (ceramic) beads for bead homogenization. Beads are acid washed and heat treated. Tubes are filled in a process tested by qPCR to be free of stray DNA. Triple-Pure - High Impact. Suitable for use in BeadBlaster 24 with appropriate 5 mL tube holders.

2 mL tubes are prefilled with one large, banded 6 mm zirconium satellite and garnet shards. Beads are alcohol washed and heat treated. Sharp edges of the garnet shards make these beads useful for homogenization for tough samples such as skin and plant material. Suitable for use in most bead homogenizers including the BeadBug 3, BeadBug 6 and BeadBlaster 24.

2.0 mL Tubes, Stainless Steel Beads (D1033-28)

2 mL tubes are prefilled with 2.8 mm diameter stainless steel beads for bead homogenization. Beads are alcohol washed and heat treated. Suitable for use in most bead homogenizers including the BeadBug 3, BeadBug 6 and BeadBlaster 24.

Stickers for labeling petri dishes.

PetriStickers allow for petri dishes to be labeled quickly, neatly and reliably. Made with water-resistant ink, substrate and adhesives and will remain firmly attached at temperatures from 42° to 4°C. Simply remove the label's protective backing and apply it to the back of a petri dish. PetriSeal stretches and conforms to form a tight seal and is temperature resistant, waterproof and chemically resistant. It resists abrasion and puncture and blocks vapor loss while reducing the rate of gas exchange. Use PetriSeal with microtiter plates, Petri dishes and culture plates to prevent to entry of contaminants. The seal remains flexible down to -30°C and can withstand continuous exposure from -40°C to +77°C (with intermittent exposure up to 100°C). Tests have shown that PetriSeal leaves no adhesive residue even after two years.
