CelCulture® CO2 Incubators
- Contamination control with long life ULPA filters and 90°C moist heat decontamination cycle.
- Direct heat & air jacket design with gentle yet effective forced convection.
- Intuitive interfaces and intelligent data and event logger.
The CelCulture® CO2 Incubator is designed and manufactured using the accumulated expertise and knowledge that Esco has developed with over 35 years of world class equipment for laboratory usage. Designed with sample safety, energy efficiency and user-friendliness in mind, the system achieves precise parameter controls, highly effective contamination control and intuitive user interfaces all--supported by Esco's solution-based sales and service representatives worldwide.
Key Benefits
- CelSafe™ Contamination Control System provides unparalleled protection to your precious samples
- SteriSafe™ ULPA filtration enables the chamber air to be maintained at ISO class 5 conditions.
- All input gases are filtered by in-line filters before they enter the chamber to remove impurities and contaminants.
- The incubator's main body is made from electro-galvanized steel with Esco's unique ISOCIDE™ antimicrobial coating.
- SwiftCon™ moist heat 90°C decontamination cycle operates overnight to eradicate contamination in the unlikely event it occurs. At the end of the cycle, the chamber is dry and ready to use.
- CelAlert™ Alarm System reminds users of important tasks needed to protect their cultures
- CO2 tank depletion reminder in addition to CO2 tank-low alarm.
- ULPA-reminder will alert user to replace ULPA filter
VivoCell™ Precise Temperature, CO2 Control and High Humidity
- Best uniformity and control among available CO2 Incubators
- Fast CO2, temperature, and humidity recovery without overshoot.
- Direct heat design for rapid recovery, with 8 heaters grouped into 3 zones.
- Air jacket provides isolation against ambient temperature fluctuations.
- Filtered air circulates across water pan accelerating humidifying process and flows gently around culture plates, causing no disturbance to cell culture.
- Blower automatically stops when door is opened, to minimize mixing of chamber and room air. VentiFlow™ forced convection. accelerates recovery of chamber air to ISO Class 5 Cleanliness after door closing to prevent contamination.
Easy-to-Clean
- Chamber is made of stainless steel chamber with rounded corners enabling efficient and rapid cleaning.
- Ductwork, plenums and shelves are removable without tools for faster and easier operator maintenance.
- Glass door and inner gasket are removable without tools

Immunohistochemistry Staining Trays
Application
The AT-12 Immunohistochemistry Staining Tray has been designed for immunohistochemistry slide staining in the lab. The 12-slide unit has an integrated dual well design reservoir to hold water below the slides when humidity is needed. The AT-12 is constructed entirely of solid black cast acrylic to block all light from the stained slides. Additional applications include microscopy, cytology, and hematology. Tray can be placed inside 37° C incubator.
- Hold 12 slides
- Integrated dual well reservoir can hold water when humidified storage is needed
- Made from heavy-duty cast acrylic
- Skid-proof rubber feet prevent sliding and facilitate sturdy stacking of trays
- Black or clear lid versions available
Durable Construction
Cast acrylic is very durable and highly chemical resistant so this product will provide years of dependable service in the laboratory. The tray is constructed with rubber feet to promote the stacking of the trays to save space and won't allow stacked trays to slip.
Multiple Configurations
Additional staining trays are available including a 12-slide unit with a clear lid and 24 slide units with black or clear lids.
Made in the USA.
Perfect for storage or transport
These heavy-duty, two-piece microscope slide boxes store up to 25 standard slides (3 x 1" or 75 x 25mm). Available with either cork or foam lining. The boxes stack securely on top of each other, and are available in blue, green, red, yellow or white. Measures 5.5 x 3.5 x 1.24".
These disposable plastic cassettes hold tissue specimens during processing and embedding, as well as in storage. Molded from a special high-density polymer, they keep specimens safely submerged in liquid and are totally resistant to the chemical action of histological solvents. The efficient flow-through slots maximize fluid exchange and ensure proper drainage.
This new model differs by the special hinge holding the base and cover together. This hinge allows cassettes to be opened and closed as often as necessary. The cover can be removed and re-inserted easily without danger of specimen loss.
Available in 11 non-cytotoxic, non-metallic colors.
Each case contains 3 dispenser boxes of 500 cassettes.
HISTOETTE2 Embedding Cassette
Similar to M492 but specially designed to hold biopsy specimens during the embedding process, as well as in a storage cabinet. Anterior writing area is at a 45° angle to make the cassette more suitable to be used with certain types of cassette labeling instruments. Each case contains 3 dispenser boxes of 500 cassettes.
Embedding rings
Embedding rings are suitable for holding and identifying tissue sample blocks and fit well in microtome chuck adapters. The etched writing surface on the ring is marked with an identification number and placed on top of the sample block. Additional paraffin is poured into the base mold to cement the ring onto the tissue block. The embedding ring securely holds the tissue sample in the microtome chuck adapter for sectioning and then identifies the sample while in storage. Rings are available in different colors. Each case contains 4 dispenser boxes of 250 rings.
Molded from a special high density polymer, these cassettes keep specimens safely submerged in liquid and are totally resistant to the chemical action of histological solvents. The efficient flow-through slots maximize fluid exchange and ensure proper drainage. The one-piece integral lid eliminates the need for separate steel lids. The snaplatch and hinge-lock design of the UNISETTE prevent early separation of base and lid and allows for one-hand operation. Lids can be opened and closed as often as necessary and they always relock securely without danger of specimen loss. Large labeling areas are located on two sides of the cassettes. Anterior writing area is at a 35° angle.
M506 Series is similar to M505 but specially designed to hold biopsy specimens during the embedding process.
Available in non-cytotoxic, non-metallic colors. Each case contains 3 dispenser boxes of 500 cassettes.
This version of the Micromesh offers 1676 square openings (0.38 mm) allowing for a greatly improved fluid exchange without having to use biopsy pads. Large anterior and posterior slots in both cassette and cover ensure that the Micromesh biopsy cassette will sink rapidly. A large square compartment measuring 27 mm is perfect even for needle biopsies. The cover does not protrude above the cassette, a great space saving feature allowing more cassettes to be stacked in automatic labeling machines and tissue processors.
Molded from a special high density polymer, these patented cassettes keep specimens safely submerged in liquid and are totally resistant to the chemical action of histological solvents. The Micromesh ensures efficient fluid exchange and drainage. They can be opened and closed as often as necessary and they always relock securely without danger of specimen loss. Anterior writing area is at a 45° angle to make the cassette more suitable to be used with automated cassette printers. Available in non-cytotoxic, non-metallic colors.
Each case contains four dispenser boxes of 250 cassettes with covers assembled.
