Z645 Series Stereo Microscopes
The Z645 series is the newest and most advanced microscope in its class. This robust and high-performance stereo scope incorporates Greenhough (Twin zooming) technology, providing unsurpassed imaging and increased depth of focus. The Z645 allows for true stereo resolution, providing the best 3-D images available in this class of scope. The internal optics and coatings produce images rich in color reproduction and high in resolution, making them an excellent choice for any application where high resolution and increased depth of focus are required.
The scopes have an integrated 1X common objective and offer a large 115 mm working distance, allowing added access to specimens. With a zoom ratio of 6.7:1 and a large 6X to 45X zoom range, low and high magnification imaging is possible on this scope. Additionally, there are auxiliary objectives available that easily thread on and off the scope, enhancing the total usable magnification ranges.
The co-axial zoom control allows smooth zooming throughout the entire zoom range and has vibration free click stops to repeat magnifications. This allows users to know their magnification without removing their eyes from the sample. These click stops can be disengaged to provide a constant zoom.
Both the binocular and trinocular photo versions are an airtight, one-piece design and have anti-mold coatings so they can be used in any environment.
The trinocular version of the Z645 has a top-mounted, direct-coupled photo port, so adding a camera to the scope is simple. In addition, an integrated dichroic directs light to both the eyepieces and the camera simultaneously, eliminating the need to constantly move a slider to direct the light as needed. This design also ensures that both optical paths are directed to the camera, making the digital image quality more robust and "stereoscopic".
These scopes are modular and can be configured to meet specific needs and budgets. Additional accessories are available, as well as a variety of advanced illumination techniques, including adjustable gooseneck LED light guides, ring lights, and advanced oblique contrast embryo transfer stands.
