Luminescent Assays - ATPlite 1

Perkin Elmer's ATPlite simple and sensitive system is an excellent kit to determine cell number due to proliferation or toxicity. It effectively replaces the MTT assay and can be used instead of the 3H thymidine assays with additional analysis.

• Longest half - life = for batch processing of samples
• 2 step system with separate lysis and detection steps

• ATPlite 1step:
  • Measure within 30 min
  • Brightest signal (~3x the counts of ATPlite 2Steps) = when looking for maximum sensitivity
  • For continuous processing of samples
  • True 1 step system = More suited to HTS
