IBI has a limited warranty on all Life Science Equipment products which is one year to the original buyer only (non-transferable) from the original date of purchase.


Our limited warranty, as stated above, extends to the end user of IBI Scientific products only. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties whether expressed or implied, including warranties for merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no situation shall IBI Scientific be liable for any incidental or consequential damages of any kind, even though IBI Scientific has been advised of the possibility of such damages arising out of or resulting from, the products or the use or modification there of or due to the breach of this warranty, or any other obligation of IBI Scientific to the customer, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory. In no such event shall IBI Scientific be liable for damages which exceed the purchase price of any product.

hybex™ Erlenmeyer Flasks are manufactured from high quality, borosilicate 3.3 glass. A low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3), provides temperature resistance that is far superior to that of standard lab glass (or soda lime glass). hybex™ glass is designed to withstand high temperatures, making them ideal for shaking applications, media preparation and long-term storage.
The standard Erlenmeyer flasks have permanent, white enamel graduations for volume measurement and a white identification box for marking or coding.

For storage of media and cultures, the capped flasks include an autoclavable polypropylene cap & drip-ring. Optional cap colors are available, as well as PBT material caps for temperature applications up to 180°C. (Threads are standard GL-45 for compatibility with a wide range of cap types from various manufacturers, including phenoic caps, vented caps, etc.)
