5 mL Screw Cap MacroTubes®

The tubes are made of high clarify, low binding virgin polypropylene and are certified RNase/DNase free. The 16 mm diameter is identical to standard 15mL tubes, thus ensuring compatibility with existing centrifuge rotors. Other equipment, specially designed for 5 mL tubes is available.

The MacroTubes® are suppled with 20 mm(OD) caps that seal smoothly and completely with a single 360° turn. Useable from -86 °C to 110 °C, they are a valuable vessel for boiling and low temperature sample preservation. Choose from non-sterile bulk packaging, or sterile rack packaging (upright in foam racks with caps attached).
