RephiQuik 0.45 uM Non-sterile Syringe Filters are designed for fast, reliable filtration of aqueous, organic, or protein-based solutions in laboratory settings. Available with PTFE, PVDF, PES, and Nylon membranes, these syringe filters provide broad chemical compatibility, high flow rates, and low extractables—making them ideal for a wide range of filtration applications, including sample preparation, HPLC, and protein purification

Each filter features a high-quality polypropylene (PP) housing and a secure female luer-lock inlet with a male luer-slip outlet. The filters offer a large effective filtration area with minimal hold-up volume, ensuring maximum recovery of precious samples. The membrane type and pore size are clearly printed on each unit, and color-coded housings provide quick visual identification: blue (PTFE), yellow (PVDF), green (PES), and purple (Nylon).

With a consistent pore size of 0.45 uM, these filters support efficient removal of particles and microbes, enabling improved sample clarity and system protection.

Membrane Options & Applications

• PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
• Hydrophobic, ideal for aggressive organic solvents, acids, and gases. Excellent chemical resistance.
• PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride)
• Hydrophilic, low protein binding. Best for protein solutions, biological samples, and DNA/RNA filtration.
• PES (Polyethersulfone)
• Hydrophilic, asymmetric structure for fast flow rates. Recommended for aqueous and slightly organic samples.
• Nylon
• Hydrophilic with broad chemical compatibility. Suitable for both aqueous and organic solvents, including ACN, DMF, and DMSO.
