All common microtubes (0.2 mL, 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL, 2.0 mL) can be accepted as well as PCR strips, hematocrit tubes, and even 5.0ml centrifuge tubes. Advanced microprocessor controls allow for setting/displaying of the rotational speed in either rpm or rcf. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy-to-use front panel can adjust accel/decel rates, and change the end-of-run alarm tone. Despite a remarkably small footprint, the Z216 series offers a uniquely designed 44 x 1.5 mL dual-row rotor, nearly doubling the capacity when compared to traditional microcentrifuges.

This optimizes it for use with concentrated acids and organic solvents that can interact with the PFA, but makes it less useful for bases. In addition, the valve spring in the Dispensette® S Organic is tantalum (vs. platinum-iridium alloy) allowing it to be used with peroxides, again, at the expense of compatibility with bases. Because of the different construction and chemical compatibility, parts from a Dispensette® S should not be used with a Dispensette® S Organic, and vice versa.
The Dispensette® S Organic bottletop dispenser is supplied with: discharge tube, valve mounting/calibration tool, polypropylene adapters, telescoping filling tube, recirculation tube (optional), performance certificate, operating manual, and one year warranty.

The Z36 HK is the result of many years of experience in the design of universal centrifuges, high speed centrifuges and compact microcentrifuges. The Z287-A exceeds the limitations set forth by traditional microcentrifuges which are restricted solely to fixed-angle rotors for microtubes. Several rotors are available, including a popular 4 position swinging bucket rotor with a wide offering of accessories for the centrifugation of tubes, bottles, plates and blood bags. The high capacity rectangular buckets accept microplates directly or a variety of tube inserts for accommodating as many as 40 x 50 mL conical or 96 x 15 mL conical tubes per run.

Patented size coding means automatic tip volume detection by the HandyStep® touch and HandyStep® electronic. They also fit repeating pipettes from other manufacturers that use standard dispenser tips. PD-Tip™ II tips are manufactured from virgin polypropylene and high-density polyethylene. Available in non-sterile and BIO-CERT® sterile. BIO-CERT® PD-Tip™ II Precision Dispenser Tips are individually wrapped and certified free of DNA, RNase, endotoxins, and ATP to meet the most stringent sample integrity requirements. All PD-Tip™ II Precision Dispenser Tips are supplied with a batch Certificate of Performance to document accuracy and precision.
