Radiance ECL Chemiluminescent Substrate
Chemiluminescent HRP substrate for chemiluminescent Western blots
Radiance ECL is an HRP substrate with long-lasting signal and sensitivity down to low picograms. Use up to 10 times less antibody than other substrates used in life science.
Size: 500 mL
Features
- Performance — compare performance to SuperSignal West Pico and Amersham ECL
- Sensitivity — high sensitivity in low picograms
- Duration — Signal duration 6-8 hours
- Chemiluminescent Western Blotting
- The most common method for Western blot detection is chemiluminescence. Detection by chemiluminescence is relatively sensitive and works well for detecting individual or low abundance proteins.
Radiance Plus Chemiluminescent Substrate
The most sensitive HRP substrate available for chemiluminescent Western blotting.
With attomole sensitivity and a long-lasting signal, Radiance Plus allows you to detect bands not visualized with other substrates. High signal-to-noise and a large dynamic range make it ideal for quantifying low-intensity bands.
Size: 150 mL
Features
- Low-abundance protein detection
- Compare performance to competitor products, like SuperSignal West Femto and Amersham ECL Select
- Sensitivity in low femtograms
- Signal duration 6-8 hours
Azure Flash Western Chemiluminescence Kit
Kit includes all reagents necessary for performing ten chemiluminescent Western blots using the Flash Western protocol
Each kit includes:
- 10x PVDF Membranes
- 100mL Chemi Blot Blocking Buffer
- 500μL Flash HRP Conjugate
- 250mL Flash Wash Buffer
- 100mL Radiance ECL Substrate
Features
Time savings using Azure Flash Western Chemiluminescent Kit. Flash Western graph includes use of Azure Transfer Buffer in light blue.
The Azure Flash Western Kit uses a proprietary set of reagents to achieve complete membrane blocking, rapid hybridization of antibodies, and enhancement of chemi signal in less than an hour of blotting time. The included transfer buffer cuts wet transfer time down to 15 to 30 minutes for a total assay time of two hours from gel to imaging.
- Fast protocol with few hands-on steps
- Antibody stabilization for enhanced chemi signal
- Low background and increased signal-to-noise ratios
- Increased detection sensitivity and linear dynamic range
Reporter gene based Luminescent assay systems from Perkin Elmer provide a homogeneous assay with 96, 384, and 1536 well formats, no DTT (no smell formulation), Ease of storage (2 to 8°C) and shipping (at RT). Different assay formats allow for varying levels of intensity and half-life depending on your application.
- Choose britelite plus:
- Half-life = 30 min
- Brightest signal = when looking for maximum sensitivity
- Shortest half-life = for continuous processing of samples
- Choose neolite:
- Half-life = 150 min
- High signal intensity, longer lasting signal = good balance
- For both continuous and batch processing of samples
- Best robustness (less dependent on mixing quality)
- Less sensitive to phenol red
- Can be stored 1 month at 22°C
- Choose steadylite plus:
- Half-life = 240 min
- Longest signal half-life = for batch processing of samples
- Super-sensitivity not needed

Perkin Elmer's ATPlite simple and sensitive system is an excellent kit to determine cell number due to proliferation or toxicity. It effectively replaces the MTT assay and can be used instead of the 3H thymidine assays with additional analysis.
- Choose ATPlite (2 steps):
- Half-life> 4 hours
- Longest half - life = for batch processing of samples
- 2 step system with separate lysis and detection steps
- More suited for Academia Choose
- ATPlite 1step:
- Measure within 30 min
- Brightest signal (~3x the counts of ATPlite 2Steps) = when looking for maximum sensitivity
- For continuous processing of samples
- True 1 step system = More suited to HTS
