ActionsBioClave™ Research Autoclaves
- Designed specifically for the sterilization of laboratory research tools
- Fully automatic operation – just press start
- Internal memory for retrieving cycle data
- Built in water tank - no external connection needed
- 8 L, 16 L and 28 L models - all models small enough for benchtop use
Despite the space-saving exterior dimensions of the Bioclaves, the stainless steel chambers are surprisingly large, accommodating a variety of liquids, media, instruments, glassware, plasticware, and other common research laboratory items. Available in 8L, 18L, and 28L chamber volumes, these benchtop models include a mechanical and electrical safety interlock that prevents the door from being opened until the pressure has reached zero PSI.
With a large digital LCD display and fully automatic operation, all segments of the cycle (fill, sterilize, exhaust, and dry) commence and run to completion by simply pressing the start button. An optional thermal mini-printer is also available for providing a record of sterilization parameters and a USB drive can be used to record settings and transfer them to a PC.
The 8-liter BioClave Mini is preprogrammed to meet basic sterilization needs. Temperature can be selected at either 121°C or 134°C, and the sterilization time is fully adjustable. The economical BioClave Mini is the ideal choice wherever benchtop sterilization is required and space is limited.
BioClave 18L and 28L Models offer preset cycle options (standard programs), for use with liquids, wrapped research instruments, or unwrapped instruments/plasticware. An additional option “Dry Only” is also available for additional drying time to be added to the end of a cycle. For special applications, requiring variations in cycle parameters, all settings are fully adjustable.
The Bioclave 28L features an increased chamber size with a diameter of 32cm. With this larger internal chamber, the BioClave 28 is our only model capable of sterilizing 1 and 2 liters flasks (and bottles). Despite the increased chamber size, the unit is still relatively compact, suitable for benchtop use.
Mystaire® UV Light Box
- High intensity shortwave UV light
- Microprocessor controller that constantly monitors operation of the UV bulbs
- Seamless polypropylene design for easy decontamination between amplifications
- 0-59 minute UV light timer
- Light weight and portable design
Shortwave UV Light for Surface Disinfection
The Mystaire® line of UV light dead air boxes are designed to provide powerful UV irradiation energy to effectively kill bacteria and viruses on the surface of various objects. The UV Box is designed with a microprocessor controller that constantly monitors the operation of the UV bulbs. The microprocessor controller has a digital UV time that permits the end user to set the irradiation time up to 59 minutes. Each UV Box is equipped with a door position switch that turns off the UV light if the door of the box is opened. The door position switch, in combination with the microprocessor controller, only allows for the UV lights to be turned on when the door is in the closed position.
Typical Applications:
- First Responders
- Manufacturing
- Medical
- Scientific
- Anywhere else your tools may need to be sterilized
The UV Box’s main chamber is constructed of thermally fused polypropylene and the clear door is polycarbonate. The polycarbonate door has the natural ability to reflect UV light and does not allow transmission of the UV energy, thus making it the safest choice for a clear viewing material.
Disclaimer: End users should consider material compatibility before exposure to UV light as repeated exposure to shortwave UV light has been found to damage certain materials. The Mystaire UV light box is only designed to provide UV-C surface disinfection. This product does not sterilize.

Bio Wand Personal UV Sanitizer
- Kills up to 99% of bacteria and viruses
- Destroys RNA & DNA
- Handheld, cordless & rechargeable
Bio Wand uses UV light to disinfect objects or surfaces in the lab. Bio Wand can be set for a standard one-minute cleaning cycle or a more intense three-minute cycle. Simply hold the light 1 to 2 inches from the surface and slowly move over target area for 5 to 10 seconds. Provides up to 2 hours operating time and includes USB-C cable for charging.
Small on the outside, the Sterilmatic has as much inside capacity as many large, more costly conventional sterilizers and up to five times the capacity of smaller table top units. Two models are available, each with roomy 16 dia. x 26 in. D chamber.
Economical, reliable, and simple to operate, the versatile Sterilmatic provides the highest standards of sterilizing performance in hospitals, clinics, and laboratories around the world.
Large Capacity: The big Sterilmatic chamber holds three trays of 12" x 20" x 2.5" size, or two bedpans. Fits on a 24" counter, or may be ordered with a stand.
Versatile: For all requirements of safe and positive saturated steam sterilization: wrapped and unwrapped dressings, instruments, utensils, glassware, gloves, syringes, bedpans, discharge kits, and liquids. Exhaust speed dial with fast (1 minute for instruments and glassware) and slow (10 minutes for liquids) settings. 0 -to - 60-minute timer. Fixed-temperature model heats to 121 °C (250 °F). Variable-temperature model heats from 110 °C to 121 °C (230 °F to 250 °F).
Safe And Simplified Door Design: Self-sealing and self-aligning one-piece internal door can't be opened until steam pressure is completely exhausted. Cumbersome radial arm construction is eliminated. The door locks itself automatically and positively. All controls are front mounted. Sterilizer features a 0-207kPa (0 - 30psi) pressure gauge, temperature gauge, low water cut-off, safety valve, thermostatic steam trap, and signal light.
Easy To Operate: Fill reservoir with water, load, close door, select exhaust cycle, and set time. Sterilizing cycle begins automatically when unit reaches temperature and pressure. Signal light stays on during sterilizing cycle. Unit shuts off and exhausts steam automatically.
Faster Preheat: Sterilmatic reaches sterilizing temperature in 8-10 minutes from a cold start and in 3-7 minutes when in continued use. Conventional counter autoclaves take three times as long. Sterilmatic provides twice as many sterilizing cycles, increasing daily output substantially.

- Reduces potential contaminants
- Provides true 360° irradiation
- Proprietary UVC transparent shelf, eliminates potential for missed coverage (blind spots)
- Inactivates DNA, RNA, viruses and bacteria on PCR tools and vessels
- Adjustable cycle time
Short-wave UV light is an effective method for the disinfection of surface DNA, RNA and microorganisms. With the UV Clave, highly focused UV irradiation is used to disinfect tools, vessels and other research items, eliminating up to 99% of surface contamination.
Unlike most UV chambers, the UV Clave includes powerful UV-C bulbs on both the top and bottom of the chamber. When combined with our proprietary shelf that allows for >90% of UV-C light transmission and highly reflective chamber walls, the result is true 360° exposure with no blind spots.
Exposure time is adjustable. An optional heating cycle can be added to assist in drying items that may have been washed or chemically disinfected prior to placing them in the chamber.
To protect users, the integrated auto shut-off prevents illumination when the door is open. Optional indicators are available to test for proper exposure levels.

Micro Bead Sterilizer with Beads
The Micro Bead Sterilizer is ideal for the sterilization of small tools (such as forces, scissors, needles, etc.) in which high temperatures (up to 300°C) can be used to eliminate the presence of bacteria, spores, and other microorganisms. The outer casting of the unit remains cool to the touch, even if the sterilizer is used all day. The supplied safety cover can be placed over the opening to conserve energy and reduce the heating/ramping rate. The sterilizer does not use gas, flame or chemicals, and is safe for use in hoods. (This product is designed for RESEARCH USE and is not intended for clinical use).
Featured Benefits:
- Sterilizes forces, needles, and other tools (generally within 15 seconds)
- Digital control, up to 300°C
- Eliminates the danger associated with open flames
