Model LI6P B.O.D. Thermoelectric Cooled Incubator, 6.5 cu.ft. (120 Bottle) Capacity. Using innovative thermoelectric cooling technology, the LI6P eliminates the need for a refrigeration compressor. This means that these units use 78% less power than alternative models and reduce room air conditioning loads by 75%. They also include 75 pound capacity shelves, which eliminates sagging. These incubators meet APHA specifications for Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and include a mechanical convection system to ensure even air distribution, digital temperature set controller, over temperature limit control, and a digital temperature display.
A one amp interior outlet allows use of shakers, stirrers, roller bottles or other apparatus. Units are supplied with adjustable leveling feet.
Low Temperature Incubators are ideal for testing of sewage and wastewater, as well as other low and room temperature applications.

The LI5 space-saving low temperature incubator is ideal for small Vol workloads and meets APHA specifications for Biochemical Oxygen Demand (B.O.D.) analysis.
Units are equipped with a hermetically-sealed compressor, a circuit breaker to protect from electrical overload, and an easy-to-clean fully insulated chamber that is corrosion-resistant. Gentle, continuous forced-air circulation ensures temperature uniformity and reproducible test conditions. Each unit also includes an independent over temperature safety controller, two shelves (adjustable in two inch increments), and a one amp interior outlet to allow the use of shakers, stirrers, roller bottles or other apparatus. This unit has a steel exterior with welded seams and corners and a double-coated, baked enamel finish. It is supplied with adjustable leveling feet and a condensation drip tray.

Benchmark CO2 Incubators

With our unique and proprietary heat distribution technology, the Benchmark ST Series of CO2 incubators provide the highest levels of temperature accuracy with minimal fluctuation (within 0.1°C). The six-side heating system, in combination with a low-speed internal fan, uniformly spreads air throughout the chamber (without air exchange from the external environment). The chamber walls are constructed of high grade (316) stainless-steel, and all corners are rounded, preventing the accumulation of dirt/debris.
For added security, all models feature an internal alarm to alert the user if the CO2 percentage changes, or the temperature fluctuates by more than 1°C from the set point. In addition, a quick-cal calibration button allows for quickly adjusting the chamber temperature to match that of a properly calibrated external thermometer.
Two series (standard and PLUS) are each available in 45 L and 180 L chamber sizes. PLUS models include advanced programming for high heat decontamination (at 125°C), a unique split inner glass door for access to the chamber without exposing it fully to the external environment and programmable humidity percentage, up to 95%.

About
RTS-8 and RTS-8 plus are personal bioreactors that utilize patented Reverse-Spin® technology that applies non-invasive, mechanically driven, low energy consumption, innovative type of agitation where cell suspension is mixed by the single-use falcon bioreactor tube rotation around its axis with a change of direction of rotation motion resulting in highly efficient mixing and oxygenation for aerobic cultivation. Combined with near-infrared, fluorescence, and luminescence measurement systems, it is possible to register cell growth kinetics, pH, and O2 non-invasively in real time. For pH and O2, innovative single-use sensor spots are used inside the tubes.
Although O2 supply is one of the major issues in the cultivation of aerobic organisms, especially in oxygen-limited conditions, adequate methods for real monitoring of dissolved oxygen were missing, and sufficient O2 supply was usually assumed. Innovative non-invasive oxygen sensors integrated in falcon tubes now enable online oxygen monitoring and give new insights into metabolic activities. The pH is one of the major issues in the cultivation of cells, yeast, or bacteria. Cultivation vessels that are sensor-limited are widely applied in academic and industrial bioprocess development. As adequate methods for real monitoring of pH were not available, cumbersome at-line sampling was used lacking high data density and interfering with growth. Non-invasive real-time pH measurement provides new insights into metabolic activity and changes in metabolic pathways.
