Standard Hazardous Location Freezer


Our Hazardous Location Freezers meet NFPA and OSHA guidelines for Hazardous Location, Class 1, Division II, Groups C & D guidelines. These units are engineered for use in environments where volatile / explosive conditions could potentially exist.  For storage of flammable or volatile materials within typical laboratory or non-volatile environments, see Flammable Material Storage units.

Utilizes ATEX and non-sparking components for safety. Models feature a microprocessor temperature controller, allowing for precise temperature control, recovery and maintenance versus mechanical style thermostats.

Models utilize environmentally friendly, natural hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants (not containing hydrofluorocarbons) which vastly reduce global-warming potential (GWP) while meeting new EPA/SNAP mandates and UL, ASHRAE compliance guidelines.

CappAero384 Multi-Channel Pipettors

CappAero384 is the ideal multichannel pipette for 384 well plates. The pipette reduces the throughput time and workload of liquid transfers from reservoir and deep well plates into 384 well plates, Capp multichannel pipette for 384 well plate offers significant advantages in PCR, micro array, and MALDI spectrometry techniques, featuring lightweight ergonomic construction and enabling consistent and reliable liquid transfer.

For the best performance of your Capp multichannel pipette for 384 well plate and to ensure that the warranty is fully covered, Capp recommends you to use ExpellPlus pipette tips, which are specifically designed to perfectly fit Capp 16, 48 and 64 channel pipettes. Due to special polymers and an extremely smooth inside surface, the ExpellPlus tips virtually eliminate sample retention, and reduce the binding of DNA, RNA, and Proteins to a minimum. The range also includes a filter tip version to effectively prevent cross contamination caused by aerosol formation (such as DNA), and dangers from toxic, infectious, radioactive or other hazardous materials.

Double sided water cooled vertical system, 16cmW x 14cm


 With its 16 cm wide x 14 cm tall format, the Reflection 1614 large-format, dual-gel vertical electrophoresis unit is great for separating complex protein samples. Run either one or two electrophoresis gels in this vertical gel box that provides both long run lengths and high separation capacity. With Galileo's unique casting base, users are able to both cast and run gels without ever having to unclamp the upper buffer chamber. This allows for safer and more convenient gel handling, especially for those who may be prone to ripping their gels between the two activities.

This vertical gel box includes a water cooling feature for electrophoresis protocols that require lower temperature. This water can be provided by the tap or other temperature controlled source and is easily connected by attaching standard tubing over the 3/8" barbed in/out ports on the device. Users may also facilitate cooling efficiency and uniformity using Galileo's optional alumina backer plates (see accessories below).
