Tube Rotators are the ideal instruments for applications requiring highly efficient and consistent mixing. They are widely used in clinical, research, and academic laboratories. Crystal Tech offers both a fixed-speed Tube Rotator as well as a variable speed model with a timer. This High-Capacity Tube Rotator is well suited for the high throughput mixing of samples of various sizes.

The SB rotators give gentle but effective mixing, ideal for keeping biological samples in suspension e.g. blood, aerating cultures and for general mixing applications.

The rotators can be used in incubators up to 60°C and in cold rooms down to 4°C. The angle of rotation is fully adjustable with a scale to measure and reproduce the mixing angle, from horizontal for minimal mixing to vertical for full end-over-end mixing. An integral tray catches any spillage from the rotating tubes

The SB3 has a digital timer and speed display allowing procedures to be accurately repeated for optimal results.

A choice of six tubes holders are available to fulfill most applications. It is possible to use two tube holders simultaneously with our dual holder accessory. The tube holders available are listed below:

The Tube Revolver can be used in a variety of laboratory fields such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Clinical, and Histochemistry. The rotisseries are interchangeable so that the unit works with a variety of tube sizes. The four rotisserie paddles can be mixed for a combination of different tubes. Each paddle direction can be independently adjusted from 0-90 degrees.

In addition to the speed adjustability and digital display, Model TR-02U can be programmed to operate in a back and forth oscillating mode, simulating the mixing process by hand. The oscillation occurs every 40 degrees in the rotation. The combination of rotation and oscillation mixes liquid more effectively.
