Glass coated, polypropylene microplates.  The 200nm thick coating of silicone dioxide creates a cradle of non-binding and inert glass to protect your sample.  This SiO2 coating helps to:

This 8 mm round well U-bottom plate combines 1.6mL working volume with automation friendly design. Sturdy and warp resistant design with ultra-flat surfaces and rigid construction, this plate ideal for high throughput screening, sample collection, compound storage, screening, and combinatorial chemistry applications. These deep well microplates are ideal for high throughput applications and storage of samples. They are compatible with sample processing workstations, microplate processing equipment and many microplate centrifuge rotors. Each of these plates has 96 round wells in a standard 8 x 12 format.

The 0.5 ml plates are manufactured from polypropylene for excellent temperature and chemical resistance. They can be frozen or autoclaved and when used with the strip caps (available separately), are perfect for freezer storage of samples. Well bottoms are conically shaped. Available in either polypropylene or polystyrene with round well bottoms, the 1.0 ml plates meet SBS standards and are DNase/RNase free. The polypropylene plates are useful for a variety of applications where temperature and chemical resistance is required. Polystyrene plates are ideal for cell adhesion applications. Strip caps and sealing mats are sold separately. Clear adhesive tapes, thermal sealing film and thermal sealing foil are also available.

NEST Cell Culture Inserts

  • Compatible with most solvents used for fixing and dyeing.


Attention

  • Attachment of cells grown on a permeable support (membrane) is sensitive to the initial seeding density, so the initial use should be inoculated with different density guarantee optimal growth;
  • During the cultivation process, the liquid should be taken through the gap between the upper layer and the hole. When adding liquid, be careful and slow to avoid the damage of the membrane;
  • Incubation of the permeable support in the medium prior to culturing the cells can improve cell attachment and distribution.


Guidelines

  • Pre-equilibration: After added culture solution to the pores of the multi-well plate and inserted the insert, please placed it in the incubator for at least one hour or overnight.
  • Fix and stain cells directly in the nest, and use a scalpel to cut the membrane for long-term storage. Before using please add culture solution to the pores of the multi-well plate, then insert the insert and add the culture solution which included cells to the insert.
